So, this is a really technical question, but hoping others have had experiences with this and possibly positive stories to share...
I just learned today that I have Rh-negative blood, and it could mean complications if I am carrying a child with Rh-positive blood. Don't know DH's blood type, but most people are positive, so it could be an issue...
Does anyone else have experience being pregnant and Rh-negative? Did it end up being a big deal? How often did you get the Rhogam shot, and if you got it, was it successful in preventing antibodies (which can affect future pregnancies) from building up in your blood?
thought that was funny
Plus getting the rhogam shot and not needing it is not an issue.
The shot kinda sucked b/c the medicine is thick and the nurse injected it really fast but overall, it was ok. I did not have to get the 2nd shot after birth since DS had my blood type.
