I'm finding out on Thursday afternoon and I'd love to bring a treat in to work Friday morning for my co-workers and student employees.
Any quick/easy ideas? Something I could bake in advance and then easily color pink/blue would be ideal.

I'd go with cupcakes, then add pink or blue sprinkles after you find out.

@Boheme: I think that's what I might do! But I'll do bars to make it even easier. If I can make the frosting, but not color it until after the appointment that would be fun. I then I can get a picture of LO 1 eating the cookie!

CUPCAKES NOM NOM NOM. Stuff them with colored icing
You can easily color sanding sugar to put on top! Sugar+a couple drops of food coloring in a bag. SHAKE.

@cmomma17: you can probably grab sprinkles at your local grocery store! Jo-Ann's and Michael's also have a decent selection of baking funness, and you can use a coupon (download their apps!)

I decided to go with sugar cookie bars ( made yesterday, frosted tonight). Blue frosting for a healthy baby boy!
