When I was almost 38 weeks pregnant (it was just a few days before I was induced), I was grocery shopping. By the time I was ready to leave the store, it was pouring down rain. As I pushed my cart toward my car, two employees came running out in the rain to help me load my groceries in the car. They insisted that I sit down (in the driver's seat) and just let them take care of it. It was so unexpected and awesome that I called the store manager when I got home to tell him about his amazing employees.

@Glitter: I know that the folks at Publix (it was a Publix grocery store) will always offer take your groceries to your car, but I had insisted that I didn't need help because I was trying to stay as active as possible! The two gentlemen who helped me seemed to appear out of nowhere (I hadn't seen them in the store previously).

@MsLipGloss: Publix wax the only place that was nice to me when preggo. Love the service! One of their employees tied my shoe because I couldn't reach it!

Not really but once someone let me use the bathroom ahead of them. I was so glad! Then I was in tj's and this girl didn't and I felt mad. Haha!

It was great! Put a smile on my face when strangers went out of their way to open doors or let me go ahead of them in the bathroom. I now try to do the same for other pregnant women.

Yes! I work at a big university, and students usually walk around in their own little worlds. But once the belly got REALLY big, I was surprised and thrilled to find that most of them (male and female) went out of their ways to help out. On the other hand, when I flew in my third trimester, no one was kind at all, even when I was visibly struggling with luggage. I guess the kids are alright!
