Yeah you can, as long as you're not a juror or an alternate. It's all public record.

@MrsH: I was summoned once and I could literally see the defense attorney look at me, look down at my questionnaire, see that I am a lawyer, and cross my name off his list. It was kinda funny, but I was sort of disappointed I wasn't selected because it was a high-profile criminal case and would have been really interesting. But one of my law school professors spent spring break sitting on a jury one year -- he thought he'd be dismissed immediately and that definitely didn't happen!

@PurplePeony: I wouldn't want a lawyer on my jury bc I would be worried that their opinion may carry more weight with the other jurors than it should.. But others may appreciate someone who can think critically and presumptively put the law above personal bias..

It was an armed robbery case and the defendant was a self proclaimed heroine addict. That's all we were told before they selected the jurors. I really wanted to know the rest of the details! Wanted to know what evidence they had on him.
