Is there any safe sushi during pregnancy?
The crunch munch roll has cooked crab, I think. Would that be safe? What about the Las Vegas roll? That has raw salmon but it's deep fried, though it doesn't totally cook the salmon I don't think.
Any suggestions for pregnancy safe sushi?

If its cooked, you should be fine, but I would be more worried about getting it from a reputable place.

Eel is cooked, California roll is all veggies. Anything where the sushi is cooked is fine. Anything with shrimp. Any tempura. Deep fried rolls are usually cooked all the way through.
Obviously don't get it from your supermarket sushi counter!

@regberadaisy: Why not the supermarket counter? Ours has it were they will make it fresh in front of you?

What's the one with the deep fried softshell crab, is it a spider roll?
There are also ones that contain tempura shrimp, those are fully cooked.

I ate it if the fish was completely cooked through or it was veggie. And I did get it from whole foods but wouldn't get it from my local stop and shop- but our local stop and shop is kind of grody. A nicer grocery store where they make it there would prob be fine (but maybe not worth it depending how good it tastes).

My OB had zero concerns about any sushi so I'd say as long as it is from a reputable place, order whatever you want!

I usually get some sort of veggie roll or California anyway so this hasn't been an issue but I would still order a raw one if I wanted as long as it was from a very reputable place. Most places fish is flash frozen anyways for transport which kills parasites as well.

I got a California roll (cooked crab) and told them I was pregnant. They used separate cutting boards and new gloves to not cross contaminate. I only did it once. Just make sure it is from a really good place!

Anything with cooked food or veggies. I always had the eel ones and also shrimp tempura ones!

My OB didn't have any concerns as long as I'm not "getting it from a gas station" haha. I would go to a reputable sushi restaurant and order what I want

Ditto on anything that's cooked is good. Then again, I eat sashimi so yea... lol But I do make sure it's from a reputable place so I'm not too worried. All things in moderation!

I avoid tuna because of mercury levels 
Crab, salmon, shrimp, scallop, clam are all fair game to me!
