DH says not wrapped but I won and wrap. I want to see her face when she unwraps a gift. I feel like if everything is just sitting out, then it isn't as exciting. Plus how do you do with multiple kids, I can't see both.
Her big gift, kitchen, will just have a bow, obviously.

Just fyi, your only poll option is unwrapped. That being said, when I was little gifts from Santa were unwrapped, gifts from my parents were wrapped. They did about half and half, and I expect they made the harder to wrap ones the Santa ones. That's what I think we'll do as well, but we haven't decided how heavily we'll push the Santa thing so not 100% sure.

At this age, they aren't going to know that Santa used the same paper as mom and dad

@lawbee11: I LOVE wrapping gifts. DH thinks I am bat ass crazy. But he is cute, he wraps mine and tries to do bows cause he knows I like them to be pretty.

Gifts from my parents, we opened on Christmas eve and they were wrapped. Our gifts from Santa the next morning were always unwrapped and assembled.

Unwrapped! My Santa gifts were always unwrapped. I got a trampoline one year, and it was already put together in the backyard on Christmas morning. Not sure how my parents pulled that one off.

@lilteacherbee: yes! i just remember seeing all santa's gifts at once and being overwhelmed with happiness. they'll have plenty to unwrap from friends and family.

Santa gifts are always unwrapped! DH grew up the same way. I have 2 younger brothers and our stuff was just always piled together and it was in order of age so as the only girl it was obvious which pile was mine and then my brothers could figure it out. We didn't get separate gifts from our parents.
Santa also brought the Christmas tree at my house (a German tradition) so we would wake up Christmas morning to a fully decorated tree with unwrapped gifts underneath.

I grew up with everything unwrapped and it was so exciting to see things arranged in front of the fireplace and to just be able to dig in. However, we are wrapping Santa presents for DD since it was one of the few things DH felt strongly about. Interestingly he has yet to wrap her presents though....

Unwrapped. But only one big gift was from Santa (and the stocking, also unwrapped), the rest of the gifts were from Mom and Dad and they were wrapped. We will be doing the same.

I prefer to have them wrapped and the tag says it's from Santa. However, H is getting a play kitchen as her Santa gift this year and I'm going to just put a big bow on it once it's assembled.

At our house all presents are from Santa (or rather Christkind) so they are all wrapped. I've never heard of gifts/presents being unwrapped. Mind you we live in another part of the world so it very likely is a cultural thing.

@Pumuckl: I never knew gifts weren't wrapped till I met DH. Everyone I know does them wrapped. So I guess it is all relative.
They were wrapped on the Polar Express last night!

Our santa gifts were unwrapped growing up so that we could tell what came from santa vs. what came from mom and dad. But I am like you...i love the anticipation of opening a present! Plus it slows down the process a bit, so I think we are going the wrapped route

We always had most of the gifts from Santa wrapped, but some my parents would actually take out of the box and display under the Christmas tree. I loved this as a kid! Best part is those toys were all ready to play with on Christmas morning!
My parents would label which ones came from them and which came from "Santa". They were also always wrapped in a different paper.
I like wrapped presents because of the anticipation and gift opening takes a bit longer. If all the gifts were just out then it would be over pretty much immediately.

Always wrapped. Also never heard of anything being unwrapped. Although everything under the tree was from Santa so that didn't play a role.
However, I did get some toys second hand for DS this year that will be next to impossible to wrap so those will get a bow. I figure he's too young to care this year.

Our Santa toys were always unwrapped, but we also got wrapped presents from my parents. My MIL apparently managed to use the same special Santa wrapping paper for her kids' entire childhoods.
LO is too small to remember what we do this year, but considering that I'll be the one wrapping, I think we'll be doing unwrapped.
ETA:
We had multiple kids and it worked fine. My presents were on the left side of the tree and my brother's were on the right. We still sit in those positions to open our presents on Christmas morning!

Growing up even our hard to wrap gifts were all wrapped. Wrapped all the way, unwrapping is the funnest part of Christmas morning!

We haven't really done "santa" with DD yet but I always thought the gifts were wrapped.. At least, that's how I grew up, but I figured out Santa was mom pretty early by recognizing her handwriting haha.
Now that I think of it, I'm sure I've seen TV commercials both unwrapped and wrapped. like the idea of having the gifts assembled/ready to use, though.
