This is me at 17 weeks - and keep in mind i have clips on this dress pulling it as tight as it will go to try and show what little bump i did have. I don't think you could really tell i was pregnant (and not just chubby) until about 29-31 weeks. At my shower at 32 weeks TONS of people were telling me how small i was.. but whatever, every body is different before pregnancy, it makes sense that they'd be different during pregnancy, too.

Aren't you taller or you at least have a longer torso? It takes longer to show in those cases. I had no bump at 17 weeks. Just looked bloated. I didn't get a true bump until 22/23 weeks and even then it just looked like I was getting fatter. I only looked pregnant around 28 weeks.

@MrsKoala: Neither! I'm about 5'3" (maybe an extra 1/2" if I'm lucky) with an average to small torso.

@LindsayInNY: I didn't really start showing noticeably until about 19 weeks. I kind of went from nothing straight to a bump. Around 17-18 weeks, I started telling people at work who I didn't see often, and most of them had no idea until I told them. I am on the tall side (5'7") but I have a pretty short torso and eventually ended up growing straight out (didn't look pregnant from behind at all). My LO was pretty big (8lbs5oz, 21") and I got a lot of comments about how surprised people were about his size!
Here's a bump pic of me around 19/20 weeks. It was kind of an overnight thing.

Even with two in there, I just looked like I'd been eating at a buffet every night until about five months, and I have the shortest torso in the universe.

I'm 5'3 and didn't show for a LONG time because of my abs! so there might be something to that if you have strong abs. but i certainly wasn't noticeably pregnant at 17 weeks - i think i told work around 17 weeks because i figured i'd start showing soon, but i wasn't no doubter pregnant until midway through the 3rd tri (which, incidentally, was when she started measuring behind!) so basically, my bump was small when she was measuring normal and then got bigger when she started measuring small. I know you're worried, but i'm sure everything is JUST PERFECT! everyone does show differently, and the size of your bump has very little to do with the health of your baby.

@MrsKoala: Then I love you I wish though!
@Pirouette: I have abs in the sense that if I work out, it takes a LOT for my abs to be sore. But I also have a layer of insulation covering them

@LindsayInNY: haha i don't think the insulation matters in my case, my abs didn't separate for a long time, which i think held my little bump in!

I'm a huge bump carrier and amazed at these pics!
Pregnancy is so different on different bodies! I can't hide it past 8 weeks so I'm kinda jealous.
