I'm not sure though! It wasn't what I was expecting it to look like. There was a lot, a lot of thick, brownish discharge in my underwear. It was really stretchy like bubble gum, too. I know this isn't the best description but I don't know how else to describe it.

If it is my mucus plug, does it mean labor is near? My husband has a 24 hour business trip to California on Wednesday and I am super paranoid about going into labor while he is gone.

I am 37 weeks and, as of my last visit (Thursday), I am 1 cm dilated and 75% effaced.

Obviously, this if my first baby so I am clueless as to what this all means!
