I can't remember the last time I brushed my hair with a brush. I just comb my hair with my fingers.
Well, I get my hair brushed whenever I get it cut--every 3-5 months.

All the time! After shower, when it's damp, when I'm bored, etc. MY hair is thick and getting long so it feels tangled all the time...

@Andrea: I just brush my fingers through my hair!

I only brush my hair before I wash it when I leave it curly. If I straighten it, I brush it randomly throughout the day.

When it is curly: NEVER. Actually went years without brushing it and it was gorgeous. Pregnancy made my hair ugly, so I straighten it and brush it now.

so lo was born, 5 weeks ago, I"ve brushed it maybe once a week, when I've washed it. it's super long & i've been wearing it in a really high bun, on top of my head, pretty much the entire time. it's crazy to me how clean it still feels & looks - I guess b/c I'm not touching it as much? under normal circumstances, though, I'd brush or comb it every day

Whaaa? I have to brush it after a shower and have to wash it daily or it's gross and stringy. I don't brush it when dry, though, then it gets frizzy.

My hair would be a big knotty mess is I didn't brush it daily.

Never. Don't even own a hairbrush. My hair is wavy and looks seriously messed up if I brush it.

I only brush right before I shower, never after, or it would be frizzy. My hair is really long and wavy though, so it can be a pain.

I use a comb right after I get out of the shower but the next day I just comb through with my fingers so that it doesn't get frizzy.

I got my hair cut a couple of weeks ago, so I've been pretty good about blow drying and actualling doing my hair... it'll probably last another couple of weeks; then it's back to buns and up dos!
I did switch to the TIGI moisturizing shampoo/conditioner which has made my hair much more smoother and less tangled (main reason I hate brushing my hair.)

I use a comb every day, and a round brush when I dry it/get ready to get it to curl.

I comb out the tangles when it is wet, but since it's curly I never brush or comb it once it starts drying. I don't even own a hairbrush!

Daily . . . which means my kitties also get brushed daily. One of them has her ears wired for brushing sounds, so when she hears them, she basically charges the bathroom . . . and her brother is usually not far behind.

I comb my hair after the shower, but brush in the morning and later that evening, if needed.

Oh yes, I have a thick head of fine hair so if I don't it gets ridiculously tangled. And I can't stand that!
