Do you like stuffing cooked in the turkey (or chicken) or in a separate dish (aka 'dressing')?
I think the stuffing tastes way better cooked inside, but I know there are a lot of reasons not too-- the bird doesn't cook as evenly, risk of bacteria, blah blah blah. But I think it's also because I haven't had much good, well seasoned, separate dish. So which do you prefer?

I'm vegetarian so this doesn't apply, but I'd definitely still do out even if I did eat turkey. I wouldn't want to risk bacteria.

I love dressing; don't know if I've actually had it cooked inside the turkey so maybe I'm not a good judge of which is better! I hear it's soggier if cooked inside?

I like to do it both ways but this year I'm being lazy and only doing it inside the bird. And from a box.

I eat it both ways every year that I spend Turkey Day with my family. Unfortunately at DH's house they eat Stove Top

It's so much better in! I heard once you can bake it in a pumpkin to keep it moist. I've always wanted to try!

Outside, I prefer it to be crunchier, and the thought of getting sick from it is more than enough motivation.

Outside. My family always joked that stuffing the bird makes Jesus cry, lol. One of my mom's greatest fears is food contamination.

Outside definitely. Just realized that we're spending Thanksgiving with friends, and I don't know where they stand on this very important issue! Ack!
