Any advice on switching OBs mid pregnancy? If you did it, did you have pushback from the dictor/hospital (not wanting to take you later on), or hassle from your insurer?

I've got appointments booked at two doctors who look good - one is closer and delivers a a very close hospital, but won't see me til about 11 weeks, which I am not really comfortable with. The other is farther away but can/will see me at 8 weeks and will do a sonogram and various testing at that point )which meets my expectations from my two prior pregnancies. My DDs were born outside the U.S. so I'm new to how things are done here...
