Here's the part I don't get. On this thread there have been many stories shared of getting it done as a teenager or adult and it being very traumatic. Who's to say that getting it done as a newborn isn't also deeply traumatic? they just can't vocalize it or have clear memories afterwards? That's what really troubles me.
