Today is my DH's 30th birthday. My MIL just posted a picture of him at his first birthday party with cake all over his face. It's the first baby picture I've seen of him - cue the pregnancy hormone tears! He was such a cute baby and now I really can't wait to meet our little one.
These days anything sets me off - especially country music, ha. The weird thing is it's not sad tears, more emotional.
Does anything make you cry or am I the only crazy one crying on a daily basis???

Oh, hormones. Yesterday I watched the office during my lunch break and ended up trying to hide my obvious crying at my desk! Agh!! And then I cried more over a shirt not fitting when I got home

@Bookworm: Lol! I watched the episode last week where Pam and Jim got married and totally lost it. DH was looking at me like I had 3 heads!!

I'm a total cry baby anyway - honestly, I cry at anything and everything and if DH and I have words, well..... I want to say my piece but I can't because the tears just start rolling down my face!
Since pregnancy, I've also been a grump - something I've never been! Earlier, I went up for an afternoon nap and DH came into room no less than three times during the space of an hour and woke me up. So, when he came up a fouth time and said "are you going to stay in bed all day?" I turned into mega-grump! Pre-pregnancy, I would have cried!!

@Grace: me too! I was crying over something stupid earlier and then DH is like "are you laughing now?". Then when I'm done laughing at myself, crying resumes. It's crazy!!

@illumina: Ha, me too! I'm crying, then laugh at myself through the tears for being so ridiculous, then start crying again!!
I just got back from the local elementary school's (where I teach at) spring musical. Blubbering mess again!

@illumina: If you are feeling like daydreaming and getting sappy (and maybe a few tears) you have to read the picture book "Someday" by Alison McGhee. It's so fabuous (and sad, lol).
DH is gone in the woods overnight for a bachelor party so we'll have to celebrate tomorrow. I think I'm going to have a me night - bath, book, and apple juice in my wine glass, lol.

I read this story on FB today about a dad who does all of these marathons and triathlons while pushing his son who's disabled and the whole thing kept making me cry, but happy tears.

I find that I am actually LESS emotional, which is strange. Things that would normally make me tear up (whether happy or sad) don't really affect me much now. And my husband will say something EXTREMELY sweet like that he was thinking about how much he loves being married to me all day while I was at work, and I'll just be like "aw thanks" when normally I'd probably melt. @_@ I don't really like being more hardened!
