Bah! Today DH and I were getting ready for a wedding and he asked me "Babe, is that a stretch mark on your thigh?". Damnit! I hope it doesn't call in reinforcements right away. At least it had the decency to hide under my behind so I wouldn't see it right away. Lol!
Leaky nipples I was totally fine dealing with, but this was a pregnancy milestone I would have been totally fine avoiding. What was your first not-so-fabulous pregnancy symptom?

My first stretch mark was lonely so it decided to throw a party on my belly and invite all of its friends. They're still partying on at 4 months pp.

@swedishfish: I'm waiting for the tummy ones to show up. When my girlfriend got her first ones, she'd update me on their "stealth advance north to capture her belly button." Haha.
I like to pretend the tush one showed up because I'm less faithful about lotioning my legs than I am about my stomach, but I know I'm just grasping.

Haha I had one tiny one show up on my belly about a fortnight ago, and that made me way more vigilant about lotioning! The good thing is that I have stretch marks already (was a late but very fast bloomer) and they've faded quite well so I know these ones will as well.

@indi: haha, I was so crazy about lotioning my tummy and they still showed up. But I also had a lot of stretch marks from gaining weight a while ago.

I remember when I found my first stretch mark. I was so sad! it was on my hip, I've got a huge jagged scar on my hip, and the stretch mark started in one of the corners where I guess the skin was weaker.! they didn't call reinforcements for weeks, and I was so hopeful... but alas! I am a tiger.

I don't have any stretch marks (didn't get any with LO and am hoping to avoid them with this LO too!) but my super awesome pregnancy treat right now is chub rub on my thighs. Apparently I gain weight in my hips and thighs whilst pregnant and it now means the tops of my thighs rub together whilst walking if I'm not wearing shorts or pants. I wear a lot of sundresses so this is really making me unhappy! UGH!

I just got my first ever stretch mark on my belly...in my third pregnancy! I didn't get one in either of my first ones!

@Ree723: As a fellow chub rubber I've got the solution! Its kind of gross seeming at first but it really works: rub stick deodorant on the affected areas in the morning before you start walking around too much, and sit or lie with your legs spread for a few minutes. Once the deodorant dries it should prevent the dreaded rub.
I don't have too many negative symptoms at the moment - since I carry a bit more weight than I'd like normally, my tummy seems to have plenty of skin to go around for now so no stretch marks yet. I've gained more weight than I'd like but all my pants still fit (buttoned below my belly, obvi) so hopefully most of the gain is actual baby & placenta rather than fat. Lets see how long that lasts!

Ugh I remember when my stretch marks showed up on both hips at about 39 weeks. I had thought I was in the clear.
Worst pregnancy treats? Definitely the 'roids! I could barely sit weeks 4-5 PP which made BF super fun.

I never got stretch marks while I was pregnant- not from lotion in got whatever, I think it was just luck/ genetics. But then the day my milk came in- a bunch showed up right on my boobs. Oh well. They are more for function the style these days anyway.

I didn't get one during pregnancy. I was pretty pumped. Then I had a c-section, had issues during and after the surgery which required meds that caused major swelling and now I've got quite a few. Annoying.

Yeah, I'm 39 weeks and 2 days and JUST had some stretch marks show up!!! Really?!

Haha, thanks for the comments, ladies! Good to know that it's not just me celebrating such lovely parts of pregnancy. 
Tonight I went to buy some nursing bras for my ever growing boobs, and after I had tried on the 3rd of the 4 that I was planning to buy, I noticed that I'd leaked in ALL 3 of them I'd put on. For flips sake! Thankfully, they all fit, so I hurriedly bought all 4, and then promptly went to Target to get a few more nursing pads. Grrrrr.
