A second living space to make a playroom. I actually love our little house. If I was dreaming big I would say a kitchen with an island for the girls to sit at while I cook. That would be wonderful.

New tile in the entry and kitchen/dining area. We have an ugly blue slate tile in the dining area, and an ugly white tile in the kitchen and entry. The white tile is impossible to keep clean, especially because it has and uneven surface that dirt gets trapped in SOOO easily. The blue tile has had this gross greasy sheen to it since the day we moved in, and nothing (and I mean NOTHING) I do seems to get rid of it. I am also not sure what color the grout is actually supposed to be, since it ranges in color from white to black. Gross.

I just want something that is easy to clean and matches! And that won't show the dirt if I neglect to mop!!

@Truth Bombs: only seen one spider in the past month but we don't have very many glue traps out as we have the house on the market. So far, no takers.

Separate office space for me and DH. His music stuff takes over the extra bedroom currently.

Definitely would be to add a 4th bedroom. We plan on having 3 kids and my in-laws live out of town. I don't mind the kids sharing a room and it would be awesome to have an extra room for guests that could double as a playroom.

It would be a toss up between master bath, a true dining space (all we have right now is a small eat in kitchen) and a third bedroom on the main floor instead of in the basement. We have a ton of other items we'd love but none are realistic. Those are doable ....if we had an extra 50k laying around 😭

I'd put hardwood floor everywhere. We have all carpet and tile. I love our house otherwise.

Make it twice as wide. It's such a thin house. Thin and long.

One more bedroom, it's the only deal breaker that will make us move in the future sad because I love this house.

Finish the bonus room above the garage. On our list for the winter.

My list is too long. Lol. If I had to choose, I would want to make it more "stylish". It's a bit drab and since we rent, it's less of a priority for us to buy a lot of decorative stuff that would make it nicer looking.

Make the backyard flat. We're on a hill and my daughter can't play in the backyard safely without constant vigilance. Might as well not have a backyard.

Outlets in the kitchen. I don't know WTF the people who renovated this house were thinking having only two outlets in the kitchen. They're also both on the same wall. Im not sure how I convinced myself it wasn't that big a deal when we bought the house either.

New kitchen cabinets (smart storage) or a second bathroom with a big soaker tub
