Honestly, and my LO was 9 days late, it got so bad I stopped going to work. I almost burst into tears when this one girl said to me "what's up with your baby, why won't she come out"???

So silly but it struck me as SO RUDE. DH got so irritated at people he started really messing with people telling them I was in labor, etc. I also deleted my FB wall so people couldn't constantly post "is she here yet". All that did is make people send me private messages.

I learned my lesson of asking any friends about it when they get close to their due date!

I had someone tell me the other day "You look like you could have that baby any minute now!"

Umm, I'm due in June.

I cannot for the life of me understand why people's filters seem to malfunction around pregnant women. One of my friends stopped responding to all FB posts and texts and posted this website as her FB status - http://www.haveyouhadthatbabyyet.com. When you go to it, all it says in big black bold letters? "NOPE." Made me laugh so hard!

@tororojo: I am normally VERY polite to my MIL (Who makes my whole body hurt at the sound of her voice) but I would have been an equally as big of a B to her. I would have told her to go ahead and bring me that ruler so I could smack some common decency into her with it... that would have shut her up. A stressed, hormonal pregnany woman who wants their baby out more than anyone else is the LAST person you want to piss off... or atleats I know that will be me.

I have a friend who was two weeks, yes, two weeks! overdue. I heard person after person say they must have just gotten her due date incorrect, and then question about the safety of the baby. She was very polite in saying she knew it was right, and people would press her to explain how she knew. I thought that would have made me go mad.

I told you guys about the lady who was telling me something was wrong because my baby should have come by now, right? It was weeks ago. I'm currently 37 weeks. She was insistent that pregnancy was not that long, and she had KIDS!!

@tororojo: Hang in there!! Pregnancy really has opened my eyes to how rude people are.

@katiew92081: People have done that with me. I have so many friends and family with bdays the week around my DD. Annoying.

Some comments I have gotten lately?
"You are really waddling these days" and multiple verses of this
"Wow, she is really out there now"

I hate the "are you dilated" questions. Close friends and family doesn't bother me as much but co-workers asking about my girly parts makes me uncomfortable!

someone actually told me, on my due date, that i didn't look miserable ENOUGH to go into labor.

at about 39 weeks pregnant (screamed across my work office) co-worker: 'how dilated are you?' me-'i'm not' co-worker 'are you sure you've got that due date right? you should be dilated!' i wanted to smack her!

@katiew92081: So true! I just say I don't know my doctor doesn't start until 39 weeks since it doesn't really mean anything. Then they are like really, everyone else seems to know at this point. Shut it, I trust my doctor.

@sarbear: Seriously? What does miserable enough to be in labor look like?

@sarbear: I feel miserable...is that supposed to help me be in labor? lol Although, I'm not sure I look it enough. I should try harder.

@smurfette: Yeah, checks are really pointless until you're really close to the end. Until then, labor is just a surprise, lol
