How long do you think is appropriate to wait from one big announcement to the next? My baby sister just got engaged this weekend, and we knew it was coming because her fiance had made some plans with us. I'm 7 weeks pregnant and we have only told my older sister, no one else yet.

I won't be with my side for Christmas, but I deciding between telling them via FaceTime while everyone is together for Christmas Eve, or waiting until I go back sometime in Jan, which could stretch to Feb. I'm wondering if 2-3 weeks isn't really enough time between? She really isn't someone who would get bent out of shape over something like that, but at the same time, she is the baby in a big family, so she never gets the spotlight! What would you do?
We are telling DH's family over Christmas, since we will be with them.
