Anyone told they had a tilted uterus? I did not have this problem pre-pregnancy. I was told at my 11 week NT Scan that my uterus was tilted which resulted in not being able to get the measurements for the NT Scan. So anyways I was wondering what this meant? Does it straighten itself up during pregnancy or will this affect having natural birth?! Or?
I am suppose to see my doctor next week and all the tech told me was its common. So I was just curious & thought I'd ask what your experience was with a tilted uterus.

I have a tilted uterus (before, during, after) and it did not affect childbirth (i did have c-section for but entirely different reasons, I caught a fever my first time.) I was able to get pregnant with no issues, and my pregnancies were both pretty easy going.
The only time I had issues was them trying to insert a Mirena, after my first pregnancy I was unable to get it but my second was fine.

I have a tilted uterus. I delivered both vaginally - #1 was posterior (horrible), and #2 was in an anterior position. My OB didn't seem too concerned.

I have a tilted uterus. Had one forever. Is it possible your OB/GYN just didn't tell you before? Had no complications and no issues and had a vaginal birth. The only issue I have is it's harder for them to get in there and do my pap when needed. Fun.

I have a tilted uterus. Pregnancy tends to straighten it out (in my situation, anyway). Shouldn't cause any issues with pregnancy/delivery.

My last doc told me mine was slightly tilted for pregnancy 1, for my second pregnancy (different doc) they never mentioned it. My moms is tilted too..... This may be why it took me so long to get both babies out actually..... But I delivered both vaginally.

I have had a tilted uterus forever - my GYN mentioned it a loooooong time ago, way before I ever TTC. Had zero impact on TTC, and the only semi-impact it had on pregnancy is that my entire pelvis is actually tilted, which led to a lot of pain and discomfort, but that wasn't directly related to my uterus being tilted. My gyn-ob said it shouldn't cause any issue, wasn't anything to be concerned about.
Only issue I've had is same as @mediagirl - sometimes internal exams can take a bit longer as they have to "feel around" more or whatever. Fun times

I've had a tilted uterus before, during and after two pregnancies. I got pregnant very easily, had no major complications in pregnancy and had two vaginal births without an epidural. I had some complications after delivery both times (retained placenta that was resolved after about an hour and a postpartum hemmorhage) but I don't think either had anything to do with my uterus being tilted.

i had a tilted uterus before. it didn't cause any issues getting pregnant or during the pregnancy. it tends to straighten out during pregnancy (i think around the 12 week mark)

@MMcAlli: I have one. I found out at my 6 week ultrasound I think. It did not affect one single thing! It does "straighten" out during pregnancy from the weight and didn't affect a vaginal birth at all! Don't spend one minutes stressing about this!

I think you probably just need to wait a little bit for them to be able to measure. I remember when I was just 8 weeks pregnant they had trouble dating / measuring because of it being titled.
I was fine at my 12 week and 20 week scan.

I have a tilted uterus - it's very strange because I was first told about it by a psychic, who mentioned it but said it wasn't the reason I wasn't getting pregnant. Then during my IVF my doctor mentioned it because it made t more difficult for him to thread the catheter. It didn't cause any problems during my pregnancy (and I don't think it was my problem with getting pregnant, since this was the first time in 5 years I'd heard of it) - I can't say if it affected labour because I had a c section (breech).

I had one, and it meant that I had to have internal ultrasounds before 12 weeks. That's about it. I just had a nice natural birth with my second, so it wasn't an issue.

I have a tilted uterus and mine is also heart shaped. I had no problems getting pregnant twice and had two uncomplicated vaginal deliveries.

I have a tilted uterus. Like you I didn't find out until I was pregnant. No complications from it during pregnancy/childbirth either. It may have just been the tech who was working with you because they have had any issues with any of my ultrasounds or NT scan.

I have a tilted uterus too. I did not find out until I was pregnant (although it had been noted in my OB/GYN's chart for years). It did not affect anything.
