Ok ladies, I need advice/reassurance/sympathy! LOL
I swear the last 3 days (at 35.5 weeks pregnant) I've been leaking non-stop. I feel like I can't go more than 2 hours without changing a panty liner. Is this normal???
I am sitting here right now and I swear I can feel it ... leaking...
It's starting to make me insane, I feel chaffed and gross.
Please halp.

@.twist.: What is the fluid like? Is it pee? Does it smell like pee? Or is there a possibility you could be leaking amniotic fluid?? If so, you really need to tell your care provider - they can do a swab and test the fluid....
I've been peeing myself a little bit every time I stand up for the last few weeks so it's pretty normal!

That does seem kind of excessive to me. I'd probably call my doctor honestly! You're getting so close

I dunno. I read that it could smell sweet? But I really can't tell you since I have tried not to sniff it.... hahaha

@Cherrybee: I don't think it's ALL pee. I know some of it has to be, but definitely not all. I've noticed that when I stand up after peeing a little will come out, but this is ... different.

I have a doc appointment coming up on thursday so I'll give them a call and maybe they can swab it then.

@.twist.: When my water broke it didn't smell sweet. I leaked pee my whole pregnancy (though not that much!) and the night my water broke was no exception. So, when I did smell it, it smelled like pee. I called my doctor and said verbatim, "Either my water broke or I peed myself, and I honestly can't tell which one."
Long story short, I would get checked out just in case!

@.twist.: You really do need to call your care provider then. If your membranes have a little tear and you are leaking waters slowly your baby is no longer protected from infection. It may be nothing but it's really important to get it checked.

@Running Elley: @pregnantbee: Thanks ladies, I am on the phone with them now and they suggested going to the hospital. Honestly, her just saying that has completely freaked me out and I'm tearing up a little. omgomgomg.

CALL YOUR DOCTOR. Get it checked out. Same thing happened to me at 30 weeks and it turned out to be my mucous plug and I gave birth 4 days later. Seriously...better safe than sorry!! I wish I went in a day earlier.

Well, I went to the bathroom before leaving and a bunch of stuff came out, not a full mucus plug or anything but, stuff... I'm definitely not peeing myself.

Thinking of you & baby. Hoping the hospital can give you an answer & you can keep baby in for a few more weeks!! Also, you're pregnant ... The only time you can pee yourself and not be embarrassed!!

I just need to keep talking. I'm on the train right now and do is picking me up and then we're going to the hospital. I thought first time babies came on time or late?? Haha eeeeek I am freaking out!
