Do you ever feel that after attending a gathering even with one other parent and their child, that your kid is the craziest, has no manners and is a general strong personality?

I know my DD can share, have good manners, not cause fights or others to cry and in general be super fun and social....but then there are visits with other family or friends and their kids where everything goes wrong and it seems to be my kid is causing all the problems!

Is it just me as a parent expecting too much out of a toddler who is off routine and environment? When is the point that you start adjusting at home to get a better outcome on play dates?

Or is this just typical toddler (2 1/2-3yrs) behavior?
