So I haven't had the flu shot this year, no excuses I just haven't. I'm 19 weeks but have already had a stomach bug in late October.
Should I still get it?

I would! It's going around like crazy right now. And I've been told the flu shot has nothign to do with the stomach flu, only with Influenza!

I definitely would - I just had a client who got it and has to be quarantined from his newborn! Better safe than sorry and it can't hurt anything.

The said on the news it wasn't too late. I'd ask your OB but I think its a good idea. The flu can continue right into April.

I was thinking the same thing, and i'm about 22 weeks. My perinatologist reminded me to get it on friday, so just to be on the safe side, i stopped procrastinating and got it. Better safe than sorry anyways.

Get it! We've had lots of young people in our ICU with the flu this year and we're still recommending the vaccine. I got the flu shot late in pregnancy and was glad to have had it.
