I traveled from San Francisco to Hong Kong to attend my Uncle's wedding!
What's the farthest you've traveled for a wedding?

We live in Canada and we have attended weddings in South Africa, Spain and Costa Rica. We made longer trips out of all of them and they were amazing!

I haven't traveled out of state for any weddings that I can remember! The farthest was a 7 hour drive but it was still in California.

I haven't been to very many weddings. Probably just NY. My sister just got married to a guy who's from Australia so his family and friend had to travel pretty far to come. Only his parents, siblings, and best friend made it. The rest of the people were from our side.

We just did a 16 hour road trip (one way) with both kids. It was really fun!

Sad, the farthest I've gone is for my own wedding, across the country. All the other weddings were closer because I happened to live nearer to them at the time (I move a lot!)

@Boogs: Nope, we drove 16 hours there and 16 hours back. It actually went really well! I was thinking about writing a guest blog about road trips, since we've done a lot of them lately, but I'm just trying to find the time...

We did NY to the Philippines for a wedding and we ended up tacking a vacation onto it! Weddings are a great excuse to see the world.

Man now that I think about it, I have been to dozens of weddings (and been a bridesmaid 13 times) but I have never ahd to drive more than 3 hours for a wedding. We have been invited to a couple out of state, but always had something else going on.
