For those that have two RF convertible car seats, what kind do you have and what kind of car do you have? Our twins are getting ready to move from the infant seat to a convertible car seat and I need some suggestions.

We have two sets for our twins. For my car, which is what we drive most often with them, we have Britax Marathons. For DH's car, we have Safety 1st Guide 65s since they were a little cheaper and they're only in them for occasional daycare drop-offs, pick-ups. Both of them work out well, but the Safety 1st's are not able to be reclined without using pool noodles under them for positioning, fyi.

We have a pair of Diono Radian 120s in both vehicles for our twins. We drive an 05 Odyssey van and an 08 Tundra truck (double cab), but they also fit in our old 05 Explorer. They were really easy to install, but we did need the angle adjusters. Our kids are really comfortable in them, and like the lower profile sides so they can kick their legs out. I like that they are narrow so that it's more comfortable for me if I need to sit between them.

@MerryC: That is good to know! I will sometimes sit in between them if we have an extra passenger so I would like to still have that option with their convertible seats. Does the driver still have room to push their seat back a little?
@sunshineandsushi: Thanks! Does it take up a lot of room front to back? Would someone be able to sit between them?

@WALLAROO: I drive a 13 Explorer and there is plenty of room between the two Marathons for someone to sit. Not so much our other car, which is a Kia Spectra. The Marathons do take a up a good amount of space front to back, but no more than what our infant seats took up (Britax B Safe).

@WALLAROO: Yes! With the angle adjusters, we can have the seats pushed back the whole way! Our passenger seat is always back to the max.
Without the adjusters, the car seats would touch the backs of our seats (which is typically a no no) but with the adjusters, our seats are pretty far back and we have a few inches of space to spare.

Uh, we just bought two Cleks for my CRV and DH's Escape. Bleeding money, I tell ya. Haven't gotten them in yet, though.

@WALLAROO: haha, we bought all four of our within about a month...it was BRUTAL! We found a good deal for each set at diapers.com and justkidsstore.com. Justkids had them on sale for $199. We paid a little more at Diapers.
