lol, that's how I'd like to respond to this one girl at work. She just had her first baby, which, you know, makes her the foremost expert on all things pregnancy and child-bearing... Or so she thinks.
She asked me what we had so far in terms of gear and I told her we'd bought a crib, mattress, dresser, etc. She was like "It's not a drop-side crib is it? You probably don't know this but those are dangerous."
Um, I'm not stupid, I wouldn't buy a crib that had been recalled. I research my purchases, I know that they've been recalled...
Instead I said "Uh,not it's not a drop-side." And excused myself, saying that I thought my phone at my desk was ringing, because I knew where that conversation was headed... Even before she had her baby, she was very into giving me pregnancy advice and telling me what I could and couldn't eat/drink. She was very conservative when it came to caffeine (she wouldn't touch a drop) I'm like 200mg a day, so that's how many Cokes? So it was incredibly irritating then and now that she's back from maternity leve, I see that she definitely hasn't changed one bit!
How do you deal with people treating you like you're stupid?
