If you found out, did you find out for all of your pregnancies? If you were team green, were you for all?
We were team green for DS, but are considering finding out for this one! I'm 19 weeks.

I was TG with E but am really considering finding out with the next one. I think I'll be sad to miss the delivery room announcement though!

@lovehoneybee: yes! I'm so torn. We partially want to find out because this might be our last!

I was team green with my first. I'm pregnant now and DH really wants to find out this time, and since I was the one who really wanted to be team green last time I'm letting him choose.

@T.H.O.U.: yes, I saw that! I know it's not a huge deal either way, but it feels like it right now!

Yes I was Team Green for my son and am Team Green for this last one. We found out for my daughter as we moved and I didnt want to unpack all my sons stuff unnecessarily. Logic triumphed emotions in the end. If you read my post I didnt get the best delivery announcement with my son sadly and my daughters was a bit of a let down too so Im hoping third time is the charm!

@Mrs. J: we were TG with 1 and found out for LO2. I'm 30 weeks and don't regret it. It allowed little miss to get some clothes/things of her own since we didn't have a shower or anything this time.

I was TG first time around and am TG for this one too - I love the anticipation and surprise. Nothing compares to the moment when dh told me "it's a girl! We have a daughter!" I will say I could have been more easily swayed to find out this time if Dh really wanted to, but he wanted to be TG again too.

@JessKas: this might be me. I insisted on TG with our first, and Dh agreed even though he wanted to find out. So I may let him choose for our second (last) when the time comes.

My SIL found out with her first but let it be a surprise the second time. Honestly I think it would've made more sense to be team green for the first on her case, since the first time she would've been super excited, and the second time she clearly had a preference, told everyone how sure she was, bought lots of clothes and stuff to prep for the opposite gender...and she was wrong. She's not very good at being team green I guess, haha.

@Mrs. J: !!!!
Obviously, I have no experience as I find out as soon as possible, BUT I'm so excited to know what you're having

I wasn't team green for my first. Although it almost felt like I was because ultrasound technicians saying they 'thought' it was a girl just didn't sound definitive enough for me to whole heartedly beleive them. I ended up having a tiny belly and having about 7 ultrasounds... So I did start to beleive them near the end.

Ours is a little more complicated. We were TG last time until we found out she might not make it. We didn't want to find out at the birth if she might not be born alive, and we didn't want to never know at all. I was really sad to give up on TG, but it was also amazing what a difference it made for me on bonding with her to know she was a girl.
This time I needed to know early so I could process my feelings after having lost a girl. It wasn't too big of a deal since this one is a girl too, but it would have been hard if she was a boy. Also, a lot of the stuff we got was very girly, so we would have needed to make a few purchases if we were having a boy this time.
Overall I do wish we had been able to stay TG a little bit, but I also love knowing, so it's not a huge regret for me.

@Charm54: I loved that it's a boy! moment too
We are thinking that since we might be done, we wanna know if it's a girl or not because we might go for three if it's a boy, which would involve some more planning. We might end up with three either way, but maybe not.

We found out for our first (who's 10 weeks old) and when we were still in the hospital, DH said he might like to do TG next time!

We were TG the first time (LOVED IT), but like you guys, we're thinking that logistics might be easier if we find out with our next pregnancy.
But then, I go back to the moment when my husband told me "We have a girl!". If we do find out, it won't be during an u/s ... We'll have the tech write it down so we can find out with just the two of us.
No matter when you find out, it'll be a surprise (just maybe a little earlier or a little later). Good luck making your choice!!

@littlejoy: yes—we absolutely LOVED being TG the first time, and you're right—it's a surprise no matter when you find out!

We found out we were having a girl because I insisted. With our second daughter we were TG and I thought it was fun! When she was born I didn't even ask if it was a boy or girl. Last thing on my mind not sure if I would or wouldn't find out again.
