I was not. But my husband is not at all in to cards.... Likely until my baby is old enough to give me something I won't be getting anything!

@bluestriped bee: This post inspired me to ask my husband last night that if we had gotten our BFP if he would have done something for me for mother's day to which he responded, 'uhhh... would you want me to?'.
Lol, some people just don't think about it.
He did give me a little card from our fur-baby. It was cute and I appreciated it.

I honestly can't remember, but I don't think I would have expected anything.

I was eight months pregnant last year- my husband got me a gift and while we were out with MIL a bunch of people including our waiter acknowledged me. I honestly felt weird about it because I didn't feel like a mom yet.

D got me flowers and a sweet card ("to the mother of my unborn child"), and I got texts/calls from MIL and SsIL.

My sweet mother in law has been giving me mothers day gifts since I got married. This year we are expecting our first and my MIL gave me a lovely gift and my SIL gave me a gift as well.
DH took me shopping on Saturday for mother's day.

Not by my husband (we're not really people who celebrate things a ton though, and I certainly expected nothing from him), but we went to a family dinner and my whole family and his whole family both wished me happy mother's day (as did my boss). And my FIL got me, my SIL and my MIL all $100 gift cards to this fancy spa/restaurant in town. That I certainly didn't expect. I'm feeling a little weird about it because I don't really like spas (not a fan of being touched by strangers and I'm really weird/germaphobic about spas), but it's literally the best restaurant in town so I kind of want to just take my husband and have an amazing lunch rather than do the whole spa day thing.

Only from family and a few people that knew I was pregnant since it was during 1st trimester!

My friend got me a card. I was so touched! Wasn't expecting it at all because I didn't feel like I was part of the mom club yet!

Nope. I was never pregnant on Mother's Day-- got pregnant in the Summer both times, and had my babies before Mother's Day.

Yes, my DH gave me a card. Super sweet! Got a text from SIL and a random friend and a random aunt. Nobody else. But I wasn't expecting anything. Although, since I talked to my mom, I'm a little surprised she didn't say anything! But some people just really don't view you as a real mom yet until the kid is here on the outside! Oh well, I get it. Until being pregnant, I might have thought this way too!!
