I'm due in 1 week, and yesterday during my cervical check the doctor said LO's head is very low but I'm still not dilated. Did any of you ladies go into labor without being dilated beforehand? Please say yes! haha

No, I never dilated and had to be induced.

I went in for a check and the road was closed. A few days later, BOOM, labor! And the baby never dropped... they had to push him down while I was in labor! Don't lose hope!

Yes. But only 1.5 cm. She didn't drop so when I reached 10 I had no urge to push. They just let her labor down.

I was 2-3 cent. depending on who was checking.

I was checked on Monday afternoon and I was not dilated at ALL (my cervix was "very soft" but I think she just said that because I was sooo hopeful that I was dilated). Thursday morning I went into labor!

Yep. I think I was dilated 1-2 cm at my last dr. appt.

I was at 3 or 4cm before my water broke and I felt contractions, but I wasn't able to make it to 10cm.
Everyone is different, so I wouldn't worry too much because it can literally happen to you overnight.

Nope! Even after a round of cervidil...I was only 1cm!

I was 90% effaced and dilated to a 1.5 for a couple weeks before baby was born. I was induced at 6 days overdue and was still only dilated to a 1.5, but was at a 10 and ready to push after only 4.5 hours of active labor (7.5 hours after pitocin was started).

nope. I wasn't even dilated 8 hours before I gave birth!

My mom wasn't....
so I haven't bothered checking since I don't want to be disappointed. -
I am currently dilated to a 3 and very effaced but am showing no other signs of labor. WEIRD!
I am pretty sure dilation (or lack thereof) means just about nothing.
Everyone is different, so I wouldn't worry too much because it can literally happen to you overnight.
