I was so excited that I was having a girl, even though I thought I was having a boy!

i didn't care all that much what we were going to have BUT when the tech said 100% boy a teenie part of me wanted a girl, of course

I was sad to hear girl and not boy.. but now I can not be happier with my baby girl. She is so awesome.

We were/are really really happy with having a boy!

This is part of why I like being team green. Even if my hubs and I have a slight preferance there is no way we could feel any sort of disappointment when our child is actually out in the world with us.

I was totally convinced I was having a boy. TOTALLY. When we found out she is a girl, it took me a day or so to let it sink in. Now? I love her so much and have been so in love with the fact that she's a girl, I was actually nervous that at the 20 week Level 2 scan, they'd tell me she was a boy! I was so glad when right off the bat, the tech was like "Definitely a girl!"

I also always thought I wanted one of each, and then lately I've thought like you - that I want her to have a sister. I have a younger sister and I definitely want that for my daughter:)

i was told i was having a girl (genetic testing by a quack doc) with charlie, and ended up finding out it was a boy at 16 weeks. but even though i had been used to the idea of a girl for weeks, i wasn't disappointed at all to find out charlie was a boy.

if olive were a boy though.... i would have been disappointed for sure!

i thought we were having boys both times... so i was very surprised when i learned they were girls... well, it was more like, disbelief... for days.

i'm really glad i waited to find out with 2.0 at birth though... best surprise ever. if she was a boy, i would've been ready to hear the news, but still maybe a little sad too because i wanted DD to have a sister.
