I was wondering if any of you were given a picture that shows the boy/girl parts of the baby after your anatomy ultrasound? I alraedy had my ultrasound but i was only given pictures of the babyes profile. I wanted to ask for a picture to show my husband since he couldnt come with me and I have to go again next week since the baby wasnt cooperative last time. Is it weird to ask for this?

We got one without asking. Since LO is a girl it was just 3 white lines. I would have never been able to tell anything without googling up for more info

not if your ultrasound tech is nice! they can even type on the ultrasound - i'm a boy/girl!

Haha, I got a print out with the word "boy" and an arrow pointing to his boy parts, lol. But when I get ultrasounds they literally give me stacks of print outs to bring home. I went home with about 30 pictures after my anatomy scan!

My gf just got one without asking like the one @mrs.bee described.. it had an arrow with a "it's a boy!" typed on the picture. I would definitely ask for one

We got one that says it's a girl and points to her girl parts. It's in her baby book.
You should totally ask!

I'm kind of the opposite- our tech gave us a picture of her lady bits and I was totally weirded out! I was like, "Uh, why are they giving me 'Baby's First Money Shot'?"

Usually the lady who does my ultrasounds is really good at giving me a variety of pictures but not this time. I guess because the anatomy scan is complete and I still have to go back in a week for 2nd attempt. I will totally ask though!

I didn't know I had to ask at my appointment, and thusly didn't get one. I got a picture of his profile, but that was it. I guess I'll see if they do one at my 32 weeks ultrasound.

When I was pregnant with Moose, we didn't know the gender so the doctor handed me a picture of Moose's feet because I loved seeing them. He said "since I can't hand you a picture of a penis, here's a picture of feet." Hubs and I both laughed.

The picture we got has an arrow pointing to her bits and says "girl," and I sort of feel like it's an invasion of her privacy or something. Ridiculous, I know
