they both love to travel! they're in iceland right now. and they're both really into photography. my mom does pottery, she's really talented! my dad has his pilot's license and likes to fly, but is also big into mini coopers and does stuff with mini cooper groups. they are very into their gardens as well.

My mom loves cooking (like catering style) and is taking flower arranging right now. My dad loves to golf but doesn't much because it's so pricey. But he's a renaissance man and went to school for art, specifically ceramics. Very unconventional for an Asian man.. Esp now that he's an engineer /business analyst. Haha. But he loves to draw and build things like custom furniture. I think after he retires he should build and sell things like custom doll houses, learning towers, kitchen islands, etc.

My mom does yoga, she does bookkeeping for a local youth volleyball league she helped start, and she volunteers a lot during election seasons. She's retired but she keeps busy! My dad is still working so his main hobbies are probably a lot of reading and some napping, lol.

My parents love anything outdoors (hiking, biking, cross country skiing). My MIL is into quilting and my FIL is into his motorcycle.

My Mom writes. My Dad does amazing wood working. Then they both love to do yard work. They have a huge handmade pond in the yard.

My dad likes to golf & my mom likes to paint & garden!

Cooking, gardening, renovating their house...they both still work so that's about all they have time for.

My dad is huge into gardening- he grows all kinds of vegetables and fruit. He also is a chicken farmer and loves those things. He raises them for eggs and meat. He tends to get bored in these winter months when he can't spend evenings and weekends outside gardening or taking care of his chickens.

My mom is big into crafts- knitting, sewing, quilting- she converted my brothers old bedroom into her craft room.

Together they enjoy going to church and church activities, gardening, home improvement, drives in the country. They also both like to read. And mom is very crafty and dad likes watching soccer and doing puzzles.

Vacationing, shooting pool, and riding Harley's and going to motorcycle rallies and stuff. Boating on the lake in the summer.

@yellowbird: Is that a typo or does your dad just have a crazy expensive sounding hobby?

My dad likes to golf, but he used to be really into bowling. he actually won the down payment for their first home in a bowling tournament, and I can remember going to the bowling alley every week for his league and playing in the arcade. My mom is a very god artist and likes to paint, although generally she's so busy with a million different activities she's trying to put together for the students at her school that she doesn't do it as much as she'd like.

My dad is obsessed with cars and guitars (he's an old hippie still in a band and watches top gear religiously). My step mom just follows him around, she used to do watercolor & photography but hasn't in years. My mom quilts, like....obsessively. I've finally convinced her to start an etsy site.

My stepfather's main hobby is also his job, since he's an artist, but other than that, he plays guitar and drums and love boating and canoeing.

My mom loves horseback riding and gardening. She also rescues and homes pets, as well as having a bunch of pets herself.
