What kinds of clothes/outfits did you wear (or plan to wear) postpartum? I think I have a few good basics but wondering if I should try to order anything else.
Thanks!

I kept wearing my maternity clothes! Once my belly went down a bit I started wearing regular clothes, but almost everything has a stretchy waist.
ETA: I'm 3.5 months postpartum and I'm wearing my maternity yoga pants right now!

My ass, hips and thighs spread too much for my pre-pregnancy jeans to fit yet, so I'm still wearing maternity jeans, usually with nursing tank + cardigan or low-necked shirt/sweater. I'm a SAHM at the moment, and when I'm home it's usually yoga pants (maternity and pre-pregnancy), a nursing tank and a cardigan.

For the first week, I lived in sweats/yoga pants/leggings and nursing tanks or nursing bras with loose t shirts over them. You will get breast milk, spit up, and nipple cream over everything so anything nice would have been wasted! Once I physically felt better, I was wearing more normal clothes (maternity or pre preg clothes) when I went out, but still changing into comfy clothes while at home.

Yoga pants! I'm also wearing my maternity jeans and pre-preg shirts. I'm afraid to try on my normal jeans...my tummy is much smaller, but I think my hips are bigger.

Yoga pants, sweat pants, PJ pants. Tank tops, nursing tops.
If I left the house, I wore yoga pants (see the theme here?) until I was able to squeeze into a pair of pre preg jeans (with the Belly band of course- those things were most definitely not zipped up but I didn't care because they weren't maternity!)
12 weeks PP, and I have been back in all my pre preg clothes for about 2 weeks now.

Nightgowns , loose dresses , maternity clothes. But honestly for the first month I never got out of my pajamas :\

I wore nursing tanks, yoga pants, and button downs. Easy access to boobs was key!
Now, 8 months pp, I can kinda fit into my old jeans (they are just a lil tight) but my shirts don't fit bc my boobs are too big

Mostly yoga pants and tank tops. It took a while until my old clothes fit and I liked to just pull my shirt up real quick for nursing.

I'm planning on wearing leggings and tunic length sweatshirts with nursing tanks underneath and loose cardigans.

Nursing singlets (or singlets with stretchy straps), trackpants or yoga pants and merino cardigans (or zip front sweaters).
Although I wore my pregnancy pants home from the hospital I lost all of my baby weight within a week and then they were all too big! I'm skinnier now than I was pre-pregnancy so pants with a draw-string waist are my friend (I'd also recommend pants with pockets for carting around nipple cream etc).
At night I sleep in my undies and a singlet and I have a warm dressing gown to throw on when I get up to feed LO. I've also bought some bought some nice button-through shirts to wear now that we're starting to get out and about.

One of the best pieces of advice I got was to buy Hanes white tees. I'm 9 weeks out and my pre-preg jeans fit.,,but fit weird and barely any tips fit.

Yoga pants and then I would wear skirts with a stretchy waist when we went out (gave birth in June). I wore maternity shirts for the probably the first couple weeks until my belly finally shrunk a little. Then I found a lot of great tops at the Ann Taylor Loft outlet that were really stretchy at the neckline, so I lived in those all summer since they were nursing friendly. I still wear them now with a cardigan over.

anything comfy! yoga pants, sweatpants, nursing tanks. If I went out in public I would try to squeez into my pre-preg clothes, didn't go so well.

Yoga pants and shorts, nursing tanks, cotton underwear!

I have one pair of jeans that fit, so I wear those when going out of the house. I wear a tank top, nursing bra and cardigan most days so I can easily nurse, but still be warm. At home I'm in lounge pants all day!

I found it terribly difficult dressing to accommodate nursing the first two months. I felt like my only options were nursing tank and button up shirt or cardigan. I hated going out because I had to dress in normal clothes and I found that hard.
at home I wore lots of sweats and loose shirts.
if you are nursing, invest in GOOD nursing tanks and bras. I got the cheapest stuff I could find and I think that is why I had such trouble...they were not flattering or comfortable!
