Sometimes I'll take one regular strength Tylenol but I really don't want to right now. I don't like taking medication while pregnant unless I feel really terrible. Resting quietly is not an option with this rambunctious one year old yakking away next to me while she eats dinner. Get home soon, DH!

I would take something or drink a Diet Coke

Hot shower. Then dueling ice gel packs on base of neck/skull and one on forehead. Darkness.

I usually chug a bunch of water and have a little juice. If that doesn't help, a little caffeine. If that doesn't help, a Tylenol. Hubs is a doc and he pushes me not to torture myself.

Stretch my neck. it took a little while, but it worked most of the time.

Have you tried those Be Kool patches? Terrible name but they are unmedicated and great for migraines.

A little bit of Coke (or coffee if you can stomach it) worked wonders for my pregnancy headaches.

I had awful hormone-induced migraines while I was pregnant. The doctor prescribed me fiorecet which I would take when it was really bad, along with a 1:1 mix of gatorade and water. Sometimes it would help, sometimes it wouldn't.

Drink extra water and Tylenol. Sometimes they get so bad I just have to rest me head and close my eyes.

I slept it off, easy to say when I'm on Summer break and have no LO, but that is what helped me!

Oh, also, my doctor recommended snacks with fat, sugar, and protein to help stave off headaches. So I started drinking fruit smoothies with full fat yogurt (or I guess a full-fat yogurt cup would work) and that seemed to help the frequency of my headaches.

In addition to water, caffeine and sleep my midwife suggested taking magnesium regularly to prevent them and it has really helped me.

I remember my Bradley instructor saying when she got one it was always not enough water, not enough sleep or not enough food!

Drink a soda. The caffeine helps. I used to take a Tylenol with a can of pepsi.

I had horrendous migraines at the beginning of my first pregnancy. I had some soothing lotion stuff from Origins that someone gave me to put on your temples and it helped.

2 extra strength Tylenol for me.
And strangely enough, sometimes brushing my teeth helps.

Gatorade, water, and bananas would work for me because my potassium would drop sometimes and cause a headache and if that didn't work I would take one Tylenol with a little bit of caffeine

I'm like you and try to avoid meds if I can. I usually try to wait it out and lay down in a dark room. Or that's what I did before. Not sure that will work with a 2 year old so I may be taking more Tylenol.

I would rub some lavender oil on my temples.

Tylenol or caffeine since taking a quick nap doesn't seem possible with your 1 year old at home with you!

I also try to avoid medications while pregnant. So I'd try an ice cold Coke or cup of tea, and an ice pack on my head.

I know you said you don't like taking medication while pregnant, but honestly the stress of a migraine is more harmful to baby than Tylenol is. And unfortunately, my headaches often turn into migraines if I don't take Tylenol! Glad the McFlurry helped though.

I am a frequent migraine sufferer and thankfully they subsided throughout pregnancy. The couple of times I had them in the beginning of pregnancy I was very weary of taking anything, even tylenol.
Ice pack, dark room, water, sleep was my only solution that worked.

I've had migraines this pregnancy and one tylenol didn't help at all. I just sat in darkness for a while with an ice pack and water but I couldn't function at all.
