I asked J - he is 33 months. And he told me he wants a red garbage truck! He is obsessed with garbage trucks and already has like four or five haha. He also wants a police car and fire truck.
What does your LO(s) say they want when you ask?

Sadie's 21 months and when asked she says, "Kitchen! Purple!" which means she wants a pink kitchen (pink and purple are both "puhple"). We went to look at the Kidkraft kitchens at Sam's back in October, and ever since she saw/played with the little pink kitchen she won't stop talking about it. Whenever she sees a picture of a Santa (or even a man with a white beard) she says, "SANTA! Kitchen! Purple!"

Candy cane! THis was her answer last year too. She's now 3+. When pushed she will come up with other things. Purple ball. Toys, lots!

Nothing is what my daughter says.
SO is very sarcastic and has taught her to say nothing to any question I ask.
I know she wants a play kitchen though and I know she is getting one along with a Frozen DVD and an expensive Frozen toy.
SO did presents this year. I did last year.

On Sunday asked for a wooden railway Thomas, James and Diesel.
I asked him yesterday and he couldn't remember. I have no idea what to do for a Santa gift, I don't want him to be disappointed but I am not buying every little thing he asks for.

He's 26 months and wants "Thomas choo choo trains." Specifically James and Percy. That's been pretty consistent for a few weeks now, so Santa took note!

"a bed" and then when someone asks "you want a new bed?" she goes "no silly for my dolly" So Santa is bringing her a doll bed. She also says an easel (with a little coaxing from mom since she's getting one! haha)

@photojane: that is adorable. I asked R last night if she wants Santa to bring a kitchen and she said no. Too bad kid!

My mother ask DS who's 2.5 what he wanted from Santa and he said he wanted mummy. He still doesn't get the Santa thing and why we are asking him what presents he wants.

A sister. Seriously. And we are not expecting, although we are looking at TTC in January. Her friend at school just had a little sister so now she is super interested.
