I'm not into shower games. My shower was at a minor league baseball stadium (it was coed) so people could eat, watch the game, mingle, and watch me open gifts.

@artbee: oh, that sounds awesome! The only real game was baby gift bingo to help keep people occupied while I opened gifts. A bunch of winners received mini bottles of champagne. My sister also did a guess the number of diapers contest when people came in. Winners also got champagne.

That sounds like an amazing shower! I'm jealous, I hate shower games, and I really didn't want a shower, so I'm trying to go as casual bbq/ partyish as possible.

@Artbee: I had three games...first was guess my measurement around the bump and whoever was closest won! And second was tasting the baby food, which was totally gross. Third was predicting the cost of a set of baby items and whoever was closest to actual cost won.
I've been to a shower where you had a little plastic baby frozen in an ice cube and put into a Dixie cup. Whoever got their baby out first without touching it won. You had to blow on it and try to warm it in your cup...super slow game.

There weren't really any games at mine, other than a little "match the baby name to his/her celebrity parents" sheet, which everyone worked on while they ate. (I failed that miserably, by the way, haha). Winners got to pick baskets of goodies. Then they set a random timer when I was opening gifts... when the timer went off, the giver of the gift I was currently opening would win a basket.

I love cheesy shower games. My friends threw me a shower and my favorite game was baby pictionary!

My 1st shower, had two 1) Name a baby item for every letter of the alpahbet 2) What is the name of the baby animal, ie baby kangaroo is a joey
My 2nd shower, did 1) Price is Right with baby items; 2) They asked DH a bunch of questions related to baby, and we guessed his answers, for instant, how many diapers a day does a baby go through..

We played the "guess how big my belly is" game with string. My mom also set a timer for every 5 minutes while I was opening up gifts and whoever's gift I was opening when it went off got a prize. She also had a baby pool, but the winner to that is yet to be determined!
Oh, also, my BFF secretly wrote down a bunch of the things I said when I was opening gifts. Then she made me read them aloud after telling everyone that it was a list of things I said in bed while making the baby. It was hilarious! It was stuff like, "Look how small it is!" and "How will that ever fit?" It was a lot of fun.

We didn't really have games. We had a make a onesie station, some cards for people to write the baby a note for his baby book, and (I guess this is kind of a game?) a calendar to guess the baby's birthday & weight. It was all pretty low key.
Although I had a mini shower with my sister in laws and they did the present opening game @rahlyrah: mentioned.

We had a betting pool for baby stats (birth date, sex, hair color, weight/height etc), Wishes for baby with fill-in-the-blank prompts (like "I hope that you....", "I hope you aren't afraid...", "I hope you ignore...." and so on), messages/advice for Mom & Dad, and a "Paint a tiny canvas so we can put it up in the nursery" table set up. I think that was it.

we had baby gift bingo, a guess the age game with pics of my husband and I at different ages, and since it was co-ed, we had a beer chug-off with baby bottles.

Betting pool for baby's sex, weight, and birthdate; guess the number of diapers in the diaper cake; race to come up with a name for every letter of the alphabet; and memory game for what baby items were displayed as decoration. The only one I had to participate in was when DH and I were asked a bunch of baby questions and compared answers (how many diapers does a new baby go through in a day, who will be the stricter parent, etc.).
