I didn't care at all what sex our first baby was ... I have a very slight preference for a girl next time, because we currently have a boy.

We were both secretly hoping for a boy but didn't admit it to each other until after we found out the gender. DH actually had me convinced he wanted a girl, I think we were both just trying to psyche ourselves up for the possibility.

We didn't have a preference either way. We loved the idea of having a son first, to always be the big brother, but we both knew that we really wanted a girl at some stage so if we had a girl first, the pressure would be off as we'd have our little girl.

We both wanted a boy at first! I have 2 sisters and I thought it would be fun! Then I *knew* it was a girl, and sure enough! I'm super excited to be having her now! All the cute little clothes!!

i always thought i wanted a boy first..because i always wanted an older brother to protect me. but now im on the fence cause girl clothes are so cute! FI wants a girl, or originally did. I think he still kind of does. He wants to be wrapped around her little finger and i have to admit that will be cute. I'm going to be happy either way but im def on the fence now! got a long 10 weeks til we find out!

DH really wants a girl. I have always thought about having a boy first and then two girls but I don't really care that much. We're team green so we'll see in August!

I switched back and forth, I originally wanted a girl, then i convinced myself i was having a boy and was really truly excited for a boy. I was in shock when the ultrasound tech told us girl and now i'm so excited.

I didn't care either way, but DH was so convinced that we're having a girl that he wouldn't even discuss boy names. Then the OB mislead us on an early ultrasound, we announced to the world we were having a girl, and on the anatomy ultrasound found out we were really having a boy!
It was actually kind of awesome. Like being excited for both without it being twins.

I hate to admit this but I wanted a girl. We ended up with a boy and I couldn't be more in love!! Boys are sooo sweet!!

We both wanted a girl and that's what we got! If we have another, we'd be happy with either. For some reason we both really wanted at least one girl. I'd love to have a son, but I have a great relationship with my sister, so I'd sort of like to have another girl so LO would have a sister.

DH wants a boy, I really don't care. But, I, and practically everyone I know, feel pretty strongly that it's a boy anyway. I just feel like I'm going to be the mom of all boys.
I'll find out if everyone is right or not at the end of July-ish. We really will be shocked if it's a girl!

I kind of feel/felt like I'd be a better boy mom than girl mom, but no real preference.
