I hired a cleaning company, but I didn't like the way they worked (apparently I'm a micromanager when it comes to this). It just didn't feel like a good use of money. I hate cleaning, so I wish I could find someone that I liked using.

My husband and I both WOH and we have a 4 year old. We have a housecleaner that comes twice a month and we have a yard service that comes twice a year for the big clean ups. We do everything else ourselves.
When I decided to return to work, my husband and I agreed that spending 4 hours every weekend cleaning the house was not something either one of us wanted to do, so we outsourced. Best decision we ever made, as I know an untidy house would be a source of arguments for us.

We have a cleaning lady and I absolutely love this!!! If we were to budget cut, I would do everything I could to cut budget elsewhere so I could keep her. She's a sanity saver.

We really don't outsource anything since we don't have a ton of $ to spend, esp when we're already buying diapers, wipes and what not for DD. We take turns and outsource things to each other? Lol.

We have a clearner every other week. If I had to clean, I thiknk I would really lose it since I do all of the groceries, meal planning and cooking. I try to order groceries online as much as possible, especially in the winter. We don't outsource laundry although that would be great. DH wears suits almost daily, so we have dry cleaning picked up and delivered almost weekly.

I don't outsource anything now, but eventually would like a cleaner to come in every couple weeks/once a month to do a nice deep clean, I think it would help me feel less stressed. Financially it's not in the book right now, maybe after I go back to work after maternity leave.

We have a cleaning lady and yard guys come every other week and I get a lot of our household stuff through Amazon subscribe and save so I don't have to spend my weekends running errands.

We pay my mom to be a mommy's helper 3 days a week to supplement her retirement income and she is basically a combination nanny, cleaner, and chef. She takes care of my son so I can take a nap or run errands, makes all our meals while she is here, preps a few meals for us to eat while she's gone, cleans and folds our laundry, and even takes our trash out! The best part is she watches our son one night a week so we can go on a date. She also buys most of our groceries!

@gingerbebe: Nice! I think my mother would totally do this if she lived closer.
