I would pick cooking and feeding the kids! And the clean up afterwards.

Bath time!! Lo isn't sitting up yet so it's tricky, especially getting her out of the tub and wrapped in a towel!!

Hmmm I would say post bath diaper/PJs/bottle. She HATES getting out of the bath and putting on clothes...she's very much a free bird

@Andrea: Same! Cooking/feeding/clean up. I don't mind the baths too much.

Getting ready to go out on excursions. Juggling the stroller, car seat, diaper bag, and carrier while making sure DD has recently been fed, and has a clean butt is enough to make me nuts. Granted, we've only been at this for 10 weeks. I know it will get easier.

I choose cooking and feeding as well! When LO takes one bite and throws it on the floor I want to just cry(and sometimes have) after spending the time to prepare it.

Getting her to sleep. It's such a production and then she will wake up ten minutes later. It's so much better if Dh can go in and rock her then.

The morning routine! DH works from home so he usually takes care of LO while I get ready for work. He travels to California one week out of the month though and getting me ready, LO ready, LO fed, out the door, and dropped off to my mom is enough to give me a panic attack.

@banana: I think bath time is my 2nd least favorite!
@chopsuey: haha. You really dislike doctors!

Same... Cooking, feeding, cleaning up... especially frustrating on their picky days too... augh!!!!

Daycare drop off. So worried about getting spit up on my outfit!

Hockey practice! Friggin hate getting all that equipment on them, trekking to the arena, then keeping the non playing kids happy for an hour or more.

Feeding him. Only right now because my boobs hurts and if I decide to take a break they hurt from engorgement. So I. Just have hurty boobs no matter what right now.

@Andrea: My son loves bath time so it's not a chore, like feeding is. My DD HATED the bath but now she tolerates it. But I have to get in the bath tub with her. haha. I end up just taking my bath with her. Two birds with one stone!

Middle of the night wake ups. It's so lonely. Whenever we have a really hard night I spend a lot of time thinking about how amazing single parents are.

@banana: do you bathe them together? DD1 loves to shower so I usually bathe them separately. The baby is still getting used to the big tub and cries a lot. She is scared of the loud running water noise!

When he is having a super cranky afternoon and I am the only one there to comfort a screaming/crying baby! It is much better to tag team so when one of you loses steam the other can step in.

@Andrea: Yup, together! We don't do full baths though. I'll leave a few inches of water on the bottom (just enough for them to play with) because one of them usually ends up unsupervised for a short amount of time during bath. So just a tiny bit of water is enough for them to play with, without any risk of drowning. I have to lather/rinse one of them while the other one plays. I have my process down to a science now. It's crazy but it works for me. My husband doesn't get home until 7pm or 8pm sometimes so I have to cook/feed and bathe them both. Two is a handful especially when you're solo parenting!

@banana: Word! DH isn't home during the week either. It used to be so easy with just one. Hahaha.

@chopsuey: Me too! Luckly my mom has offered to go with me to the doctor with LO. I'm glad because it's hard to hold him down since he knows shots are coming

Can I say dinner + bath + bed? Basically the whole evening when I am on my own with both of them...

Nail clipping (screaming and pulling hands away), diaper changing (screaming!), and bedtime (transition from tub to changing table for lotion/clothes = SCREAMING).

@Andrea: I'm changing my answer to daycare pickup! My LO is in another "I refuse to walk" phase.

@maybebaby: Yes, this!
Getting LO down for a nap by myself when he's fighting it/super crank.

@PrincessBaby: Oh you make me feel so much better about how LO is at night (I'm not alone!). She just screams and screams when we try to get her ready for bed. Maybe it is a 9-10 month old thing?
Anyway, definitely getting ready for bed time. Getting her diaper and PJs on is such a struggle!

nail clipping!! if DH is there, he can be silly and distract him. with a close second as bath time, because we have a tall tub and it hurts my back.
GOLD / wonderful coffee bean / 18478 posts
@autumnlove: maybe she is tired? L doesn't like to walk home from school because "I'm tired!"
