I've watched a lot of new fall tv shows the past week and a half on Hulu. Up All Night is pretty funny, as is Two Broke Girls, and Revenge is a guilty pleasure. New Girl is ok, but I don't love it.
Any other new fall shows I should be checking out?

I like the new show, Pan-Am. I've been meaning to watch Revenge but I missed the first show. I should probably look to see if I can see it online.

I find Pan-Am pretty intriguing. Glad to hear Revenge is good. I DVR it, but haven't watched yet

i really like parenthood - but it's in 2nd season. enjoying the last season of desperate housewives. i also like nikita and vampire diaries....

I'm not one to get into new show premieres, but this season I've gotten myself addicted to PanAm (love the 50s/60s feel - total history buff); and Revenge! I don't always catch them live, but I love that ABC has them posted online right away!
And of course, Season 3 of Modern Family is hilar!

PanAm is really good. I agree with Mr. Bee that New Girl is just okay. The main character just annoys me. Up All Night has been fun. The other new shows that I watched have already been cancelled (Playboy Club and Charlie's Angels) so I'm back to the stand-bys of Psych, House, Raising Hope, and Bones when it's back on.

@maisymay - The OP was Mrs. Bee, not me (Mister Bee).
I haven't watched New Girl and don't think I ever will.

@Mrs.Bee- Thanks! I watched all 4 episodes of Revenge last night. I'm now hooked.

I love Revenge! Also Ringer is a new favorite. I'm really looking forward to Once Upon A Time too, which premieres next Sunday.

Up All Night is fantastic! So far that's the only new show I've seen. I'm going to have to DVR and stockpile some other ones for late night BF sessions when Bug finally decides to make his grand entrance.

I saw Up All Night once and liked it but haven't really remembered to go back and watch it again. We don't have a DVR so I can't just set it to record shows I might want to get into (probably a good thing).
We do have a computer hooked up to our TV though and from that we watch Modern Family, Survivor, Breaking Bad and Sons of Anarchy. I know, none are new shows. Also...guilty pleasure: Army Wives. There is a new season on Instant Netflix now! Woo!

I'm really digging American Horror Story. It's dark and serious, but I enjoy that kind of stuff.

Really like Up All Night. LOVE American Horror Story. So dark and twisted and creepy.

We love Up All Night. We also like New Girl and PanAm.
We just watched the pilot of the new Tim Allen show, Last Man Standing, last week and it seems like it's going to be good too!

oh i forgot about x factor. it's getting good now that the contestants are being whittled down! some really great talent esp in the girls.

@Tequiero21 - I also just watched Once Upon A Time! I'm a huge fan already!

@adira - when i found out it was the writers of lost, i knew it would be good!
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@Tequiero21 - I read an interview with them where they talked about it and the only thing I'm concerned about is that they don't have a "plan" for where the series is going to go, but I guess it's supposed to be more a character-exploration show, like LOST was, so it should be good!

@Tequira and Adira - I'm going to watch Once Upon A Time today. I hope it's as good as y'all say.
hostess / wonderful apple seed / 16729 posts
I have Once Upon A Time on my dvr, hoping to watch it soon.
@Tequiero: The writers from Lost wrote it? Oh, cool. Now I really want to watch it. I hope it's good.
honeydew / 7968 posts
@maisymay and @bluestriped bee - tell us what you thought!
@adira - a show without a "plan" could be a good or bad thing. i guess we'll see!
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@Tequiero21 - Oh, I don't necessarily think all shows need a plan, certainly, but based on the premise of the show (all the fairy tale people are cursed to lose their happy endings and live terrible lives forever until/unless they are saved by a certain someone) makes me think it ought to HAVE a plan. Like I'll be totally bummed out if this goes on for five, six, seven seasons and when it ends, they don't get their happy endings back, you know?
GOLD / cantaloupe / 6703 posts
@ Tequiero - It's really good so far. I like that the doctor from House is in it. She's a good actress. And Rumplestiltskin is so creepy!
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@Maisymay - I LOVE Rumplestiltskin so far! And his counterpart, Mr. Gold, is equally creepy! At least in that one scene so far, haha.

anyone watch hart of dixie? i'm catching up on it now and so far, really enjoying it!
GOLD / wonderful coffee bean / 18478 posts
@tequiero21 - i will have to check that one out!
i am getting caught up on fall shows now. for new shows, i have watched revenge, an american horror story, up all night, and once upon a time. so far i like an american horror story the best. everyone watch it!!!
and i want to check out new girl, too.
admin / watermelon / 14210 posts
have to check out american horror story, but i always watch tv right before going to bed and that might keep me up! once upon a time is on hulu, and the first episode was great!
persimmon / 1135 posts
I'm definitely keeping my eye out for Up All Night and Once Upon a Time to show up on British television. I can never figure out why some shows are on here and some aren't. Ringer, Modern Family and Glee all air just days after they're on in the US.
honeydew / 7968 posts
@megweg - are you able to go to nbc.com or abc.com to access shows? up all night is there (i think the pilot and 2nd episode might be gone already though)... and so is once upon a time. do they block .coms in the uk? hulu.com has free episodes too but they only have the episodes that are available on the networks, i believe.
still have to check out american horror story.
persimmon / 1135 posts
@Tequiero21- Sadly the network websites and Hulu all block foreign internet connections. Oh the heartbreak! I know there are ways to cheat the system and set it up so it looks like you're in the US, but I'm neither that clever, nor that daring!
GOLD / wonderful coffee bean / 18478 posts
@Mrs. Bee - definitely don't watch An American Horror Story before bed!
@Megwag - I used BitTorrents to watch US shows when I lived in the UK but I think they may have done a big crack down on that. But I'm sure you can still do it somehow if you're desperate for TV!
I just watched the 3 episodes of New Girl on Hulu and it's a really cute show!
GOLD / pomelo / 5167 posts
I watch Pan Am (and like it) reason I started watching was that the French main actress is actually from Montreal. It's nice to see someone local make it big on the US network.
I also love XFactor!
I watched the playboy club and acually liked it. I was sad it got cancelled.
hostess / wonderful apple seed / 16729 posts
Oh, I just saw the pilot to "Once Upon A Time" and I really like it. My husband and I are big disney fans so this seems like something we should like. Husband hasn't watched it yet but I think I might tell him to watch it.
