With DS1, I was pregnant from March - Nov.
With DS2, I was pregnant from Nov - July.
I'd like to avoid summer pregnancy if we ever have #3!

I didn't mind being pregnant in the summer since I was off work. I'm excited to have the summer and warm weather with the new baby though!

@mrsjyw: the exact same as you
If we had another I would prefer to avoid morning sickness colliding with Christmas again, too many holiday smells around. If I could choose, I would probably pick a spring birthday next.

January - September. Winter/spring/summer. I actually really enjoyed a summer pregnancy, maybe I'm weird. I thought summer pregnancy clothes were comfy. I can't imagine wearing pants when in the 3rd tri.
If we do it again though Id like to try to be due in April or May. Easier to have a newborn in the spring and summer when in an apartment in the city, I think.

@SweetiePie: I've loved summer pregnancies for the exact same reason. No pants in the third tri makes me a happy lady!

@coopsmama: yes! And you can go swimming and just float like a hippo in the pool. The weightlessness in cool water at that stage is amazing

Both of my pregnancies have been timed very similarly... last time, I was pregnant from February-November and this time started in January with an expected due date in September! I never minded being pregnant in the summer last time but let's just wait and see this time around...

#1) January to October. It was hot.

@oliviaoblivia: hilarious response
May-January 27. It worked out pretty well... nausea and fatigue over the summer but that was fine bc I wasn't working, and Thanksgiving and Christmas gave me about 3 weeks of vacation in my 3rd trimester.

October - June
August - May
This one will be February - Oct/Nov if all goes well. Summer pregnancy and winter newborn will both be firsts for me!

DS: Dec-Aug (I guess I technically got pregnant in Nov, though)
DD: Apr-Dec
I've been pregnant every month! I didn't mind either pregnancy, although I was uncomfortable and swollen from the heat by August with DS, but I liked being able to wear skirts and tanks. I would have loved a spring baby!

May to January and July to March. I'm not doing it again but if I was I'd try to be pregnant during the summer, because I got SO TIRED of the same old maternity sweaters and ugly coat. I would have loved to be able to wear some cute sundresses and skirts. And to not have to try to jam my fat feet into boots!

So far April (found out end of March) to December (gave birth 1st week). Hoping to get pregnant end of summer this year

I was pregnant January-September, so it felt like most of the pregnancy was in hot summer months, since I didn't really feel pregnant at first.
My mom had all her children in Sep/Oct and I have no idea how/why she did so many early fall pregnancies - that's a lot of summertime to be pregnant!
I also had a LOT of different people tell me that summer about a summer when they were pregnant, and how it was the hottest summer ever, etc... it was kind of funny. I"m ttc right now and if I got pregnant now I'd be due in December, so basically the opposite of last time in some ways.

I also preferred summer pregnancy because I hate hate hate maternity pants! We'll see if I feel the same way chasing around 2 lo's.

December to august. Being pregnant in the summertime wasn't nearly as bad as I expected, I actually ran cooler than usual while pregnant. But I'd like to have a spring baby next time and be able to be outside more in that 3-6 month, pre-mobile stage where they just want to look at everything.

I liked July-April best! I hated being super pregnant in July.

My first two I was pregnant almost exactly the same times, and due only three weeks (and a year) apart. That was nice because I could wear the same clothes. This time, I am pregnant during a totally different time (due in Nov instead of Feb and March), so I'll need some new maternity clothes for the summer.

June-February. It was great because I had the summer off while I had morning sickness. I think my MS would have been WAY worse if I had been working. However, I didn't love the aspect of being pregnant and not being able to drink over both the summer and the holidays
Next baby time I'd like to have a late fall baby just to get a longer maternity leave (teacher so I'd take off rest of the year) but idk if I'll be hating myself battling MS while working. On the other hand, working might be easier than MS plus being at home with a toddler all day!
