Some blog sites, and any sites that have 'sexual' content, which sometimes has been things like me searching for nursing bras and it's deemed 'lingerie or swimwear' or something about TTC that is deemed to be 'sexual in nautre' lol!

facebook, flickr, shutterfly (all deemed social media), victoria's secret, ca lotto (gambling) those are just a few I can think of.
Luckily HB isn't banned! yippee!

@prettylizy: Ours does the same.
Also "internet auction sites" (like ebay) are banned.

@TemperanceBrennan: oh ebay is banned at my work too!
Also, online radio stations like Pandora This one sucks b/c I used to listen to it all day. But I guess everyone doing it in the office took up too much bandwidth.

@mrskc: We get emails all the time saying "please do not stream music or video" because of the bandwidth issue. But I work in a satellite office and we literally do not get cell phone or old school radio signals in the center of the office, so he approves our use. It's a separate server, so it doesn't effect the main office. Thank goodness it isn't blocked!

Facebook and all social media sites, most blogs (other than HB thankfully), anything with nudity and also lingere/swimwear, etc. The tech group keeps talking about unblocking them for people with my specific job though since all of my research is done online and I constantly have to use my iphone when something is blocked!

All social media (e.g. Facebook, Twitter, Flickr, etc) and personal emails. So, so glad HB isn't blocked!!

Everything! Not really, but sometimes it feels like it. I'm a teacher & our school system has a very strict filter. Teachers can bypass the filter some sites using a password, but not all. Facebook for example is impossible to get to.

@Modern Daisy: that gets annoying!!! I need internet for my job, but most are onsite resources (meaning only available at work). I'm actually surprised that more sites aren't blocked but I'm not complaining.

All streaming sites (netflix, hbogo, hulu etc) and Victorias secret for "adult content" lol but that's it!

I don't even know because I work for a government agency and just assume everything is blocked. The only personal browsing I usually do on my work computer is legitimate news sites (CNN, Wash Post, NYT, etc) and the sites themselves are okay but some of the embedded content is sometimes blocked. For anything else, that's why I have a smartphone!

I always laughed at my last job because HB was blocked, but WB wasn't? Don't know how that one happened.
Other than that, it was mostly social media.

@Mrs. Pen: Yeah, I basically research private companies and individuals on the board, so I really need full internet access. There is a process for unblocking sites, but it is obnoxious and takes forever and I think my manager even has to sign off on it so I've never done it. It's much quicker to grab my phone and go to a website than fill out a form and wait a week for someone to respond lol!

@TemperanceBrennan: yes! Gambling too! I wanted to check out dietbet but it was blocked as a gambling website.
