@Mrs. Lemon-Lime: My ribs got wider... lol. But I already have wide hips and a big booty, so pregnancy didn't seem to affect that area at all. Good luck!

@simplyfelicity: Haha. My OB just brought up no.2 this morning - he was like, why in the WORLD do people think this? Don't they understand that's not physically possible from raising their arms?!?! Ha.

@blackbird: That's great progress! I hope I am the same by 19 weeks. We are seeing our families for the first time in over two years around then and I'd like to have a little less junk in the trunk by then

I thought pregnancy was supposed to lower your immune system so I was pretty surprised that I didn't get sick the entire time I was pregnant (besides morning sickness of course!). I think not drinking, sleeping a ton, and drinking a lot of water did wonders! Not expecting a repeat of that for baby number 2 though.

@simplyfelicity: @wrkbrk: A teacher I worked with seriously believed that! Umm I'm barely 5' tall and I taught little kids...how do I NOT raise my arms?! She would "scold" me every time she saw me do it.

About pregnancy: How much it sucks to feel just a little off. Every day. All day. All Week. All month. Month after month. I know I'm really lucky that I was never REALLY sick, and really only even "pretty sick" for like two months. But I just felt OFF the entire 9 months and it was really hard on me mentally/emotionally.
About myself: Could not have cared less about reading books about pregnancy or babies. To this day I've still only read like 2/3 of one book and that was about breastfeeding.

I had heard morning sickness was awful, which I've been lucky to not totally get with any pregnancy, but I didn't realize how truly painful pregnancy can be. With my 1st, everything hurt - my pubic bone felt like it was breaking in two, the swelling causing carpal tunnel and itching, round ligament pain, horrible indigestion.
And then I didn't realize how truly different each pregnancy could be. Pregnancy 2 was worlds easier though it had its crappy points too.

@Mae: I'm with you! I'm constantly feeling "off" and it's driving me crazy! I don't even feel like I can really complain, because compared to what some people go through it's not even that bad...but...that feeling definitely wears you down.
What surprised me most, though, is how unreal it feels. I'm just 7 weeks along and, until we have the first appointment, I feel like it's superstitious to even talk about an actual baby being in there! It just doesn't feel real yet.
