I had a another little baby shower this weekend where I currently live. I was totally blown away when one of my best friends from my hometown walked in the door. It was a complete surprise - she hadn't been able to attend the shower in our hometown, so the hostess had secretly contacted her and invited her to this shower. I was so overwhelmed and emotional - cue loads of really embarrassing tears!

Ahhh!!!! That happened to me at my bridal shower, and I totally cried so I can't imagine what it would be like with preggie hormones!

I went to visit my friend who just gave birth at the hospital, and the moment I walked through the door I burst into tears! They were tears of joy seeing her as a new mom, but STILL... it was a little much.

That is so sweet! Mine was of panic - I've switched to driving my husband's car because it's bigger and safer and inadvertently hit a button that swapped the gauges to Kilometers per hour instead of miles... and didn't notice.. so the car was telling me it was going 90 down the highway when I knew I wasn't going that fast. We just spent $700 on repairs on both cars, so I was tear-y freaking out of the thought that either I was losing my mind or we had another repair to make! (thankfully, I calmed down and realized it said KPH)

Omg I'm just a hot mess at the moment, after months of having no emotions whatsoever. I had to try really hard not to cry at the songs the buskers at the subway were singing, and the thread on here of people sharing who held their babies first got me tonight.

DH and I were trying to have some romantic time last night when I burst into sobs. When I finally calmed down enough to talk I said, "I don't even look like I'm pregnant. I just look like I got acne and then got fat." Poor DH. Bless him for telling me I'm his beautiful girl. Oh, and obviously I totally killed the moment and we gave up on trying for any romance...I guess we'll try again tonight.

I wanted Chili's baked potato soup and house salad for dinner but it's closed because of the storm. I just broke down crying because of it.

Yea, pregnancy hormones are bonkers! But, that is really special that you got to see your friend!
Silly, but I got teary watching a Carter's commercial today! It was this sweet little girl talking about loving her parents and it made me emotional!

I ugly cried watching an old episode of lost. The one where claire has her baby and someone dies in the same episode. (won't say more in case there are people catching up on it!)
DH just laughed and laughed as I suffered!

I'm crying right now! DH just put half the bottle of bengay on his leg & came to bed. The room stinks so bad my eyes sting, & I'm having a nervous breakdown that its hurting the baby! If my eyes hurt..she's only a month old!!
he just went to sleep on the couch but it still smells
