I really liked Bee right away after meeting her, but when she told me that she had seen every Law & Order... and we had the same taste in favorite detectives and ADAs... that's when I knew that she was The One. Just kidding, but not really.

We made sure we watched Dexter, Nurse Jackie and Walking Dead (upto season 3. We lost a bit of interest and haven't watched it since. We'll catch up soon.) Oh, we watched Lost together. We picked it up mid series.

@mrbee: my husband and I had a beautiful but very stressful wedding in NYC. Our favorite part of the whole thing was getting our room at The Waldorf Astoria (we reserved a smaller room an they comped us a HUGE SUITE complete with a conference room hahah). The morning after we drank champagne, ate eggs Benedict room service and watched, that's right, Law and Order!!! It's a major comfort show for us am we love to make fun of it too. Have you seen comedian John Mulaneys bit on it? Worth seeing!

We didn't have cable at all our first few years of marriage. Even now we just have a couple of local channels bc it came free with our internet. Anyway we bought several series on DVD and watched them together. Our two favorites were Seinfeld and The Cosby Show.

We've gotten each other interested in lots of shows that we then watched together, but I think the show we really bonded over was/is Buffy the Vampire Slayer (lol). He was a huge fan and I was like "wut?" But then he got me into it and we used to watch episodes together long distance and talk about the underlying social and political meanings of some of the episodes. Now I love it too!

24 was the first show that we really "watched together." When we first started dating, season 3 was premiering. I was visiting him and told him that I either had to leave early enough to get home in time to watch the premier, or I'd stay but he had to watch it with me. He opted for me to stay and then he got hooked. After that if I wasn't visiting him, we'd "watch" together on the phone.
