Just wondering if the old wives tale was true for many of you? They say anything under 140 is a boy and anything over 140 is a girl, was/is that right for you?

Hers was always right around 140 but sometimes as low as 127, and she is a girl!

With my first pregnancy it was correct.
This pregnancy, the heartbeat started at 158 and now hovered around 138 (sometimes jumps to 150) and I'm having another girl.

All of the wives tales were wrong for me! Heartrate was always really high (like 170 the first ultrasound, 165 the second, and 163 at anatomy), but it's a boy!

At my 8wk scan the HB was 180, but all the rest were between 135-145, and I have a boy

So far both of my girls had higher heart rates, if that is any indicator we would be having another girl this time so we will see.

Both of my boys had very high heart rates - and what's more, heart rate varies a ton based on the position, how active baby is that moment, etc. Old wives tale with no truth to it!

It was right for us! It is what tipped me off that I had one of each in there- DS had a lower heart rate, DD was higher, and it stayed that way the whole pregnancy.

Nope - DS1 was usually over 150 and DS2 has ranges from 130s to 150s.

It started high and steadily dropped, and is now hovering around 140 or a little over. If it keeps dropping, it won't be accurate anymore, but for now that's roughly correct, because she's a girl!

First heartrate was 174 and afterwards it was between 140-150 consistently. I had a boy.

DD's heart rate early on was always 155+. Since 30 weeks or so it's been around 135 but apparently it is normal for it to slow down as you approach birth.

I didn't vote! DS heartbeat was always around 145 (from very first time we heard it until I pushed him out!) So I feel like that is too close to call!
