Newspaper delivery, although since it only took a couple of hours once a week it wasn't much of a job. First real job was at Walgreens, which I hated and promptly quit, much to the horror of my dad, who is a manager with them and called in a favor to get it for me. Whoops! First long-term real job was a local family-run ice cream parlor. That place was amazing, but I always smelled terrible because they processed the milk from the farm in the middle of the building, and we had to walk through it whenever we were running low on anything.

It was either a library paige (I reshelved the books) or a counter girl at a bagel shop. I was 14 and don't remember which one was first!

@Beebug: Same and I loved it!!
I started when I was around 10 for a neighbor, I cleaned the stalls, groomed, excercised, and walked them countless miles. Loved every minute.
My first w-2 job was a cashier at Old Navy.

I worked at TCBY. The best part was getting to pick what yogurt we would sell next. I always picked my favorites.
