I've heard as early as 14 weeks, the norm is around 20 weeks.
My appts happen to fall on week 18 and 22, so I'm hoping we'll be able to find out at week 18.
What about you?

The other day my best friend informed me that at her 12 week ultrasound she "saw his pecker clear as day!" so I think it can really vary

Mine will be at 19W 5D! I had an ultrasound at the hospital at 18W4D after a car accident, but they lady refused to tell me since it wasn't 20 weeks yet, I was annoyed! With all the stress of the accident it was the least she could do! ha

Our NT scan is with a perinatologist (who has an extremely high tech/expensive ultrasound machine) at 13W5D and my OB's office said he's going to be able to probably tell us the gender that day! Obviously it will be early, and won't be confirmed until the 20 week anatomy scan.

My next appointment is at 16 weeks 2 day, so I'm hoping they can tell us then. Otherwise it will have to wait until the anatomy scan at around 18 weeks.

19 weeks at the anatomy scan.
We showed some of our 12 week ultrasound pics to family members, and they (unsolicited) told us it was a boy. I'm not sure if they could really tell, or if it was just an educated guess.

20 weeks. I was already so paranoid that they were going to get it wrong, I felt like the chances of screwing it up would be less the bigger LO was.

We found out at our NT scan 'unofficially' at around 12 1/2 weeks. The lady seemed fairly confident but told us to hold off tellin everyone. It was confirmed at my anatomy scan at about 19 weeks

You all have such cooperative babies! We've had 9 scans so far (37w2d) and twin 2 has been consistently called as a girl, while twin 1 hid in 8 of the 9 scans- even turned his/her back in one so we couldn't tell:). In only one scan the radiographer said "that's probably a girl" but I'm not taking that to the bank- I know two women personally who were told based on 1-2 scans they were carrying girls which subsequently turned out to be boys. Yesterday the radiographer even said its really unusual for them to hide the whole way along. We have a prudish baby:)
Will update within the week when they're out in the world and can't hide anymore:)
