I know the confusion between 12, 13, 14 weeks being the end of the 1st trim; so when's the beginning of the 3rd trim? 28 weeks?

I'm pretty sure that it's the beginning of 28 weeks as well.

In childbirth class last night they told us the 3rd trimester begins in the 28th week of pregnancy. So, that means once you pass 27 weeks pregnant, you are in your 3rd trimester.

According to baby center, 3rd tri begins at week 28!

On a related topic - when does the second trimester start? I thought it was usually after 12 weeks, but is it really later?

@Adira: I was told at 14 is when the second officially starts. I'm with the 28 weeks for 3rd (can't beleive this is on Friday for me!)
