you were about a mile or so from your house and your car started driving funny...while you were 7 months PG? would you pull over or keep driving until you got home?
yeah, this totally just happened. 
by the time i got home i smelled burning rubber and knew my tire was flat. well, flat and shredded to be exact.

I know that this is the wrong thing to do but I’d probably just keep driving home, as long as it was a mile or less away!

@runningelley yeah i have never had car trouble before! at first it was just bumpy and i thought it was the road, it is patched up where i was driving...then i was like "dangit." DH lives 80 miles away so it's not like i could be like, hey come get me!! (i wish!)

I would have kept driving if I was on a back road going slow. If I was on the highway I would pull over.

ugh! good thing today is payday. glad most would have kept driving...and soooo glad i was close to home!

@lydg: I’ve had a similar experience before! I had some thumping sound and I thought it was just the bad road that I was driving on so I kept driving and after a few minutes my tire literally came off of my car!!! I was missing a screw (I know they have a special name…lugnut?? LOL) or something. Luckily I was close to the side of the road so I pulled over really quick but the tire rolled off into the middle of the street! A really nice older man stopped and got the tire for me. I put it in the back of my jeep and walked across the street to my gym so I could wait in the air conditioning until someone could come get me. I was crying and before I went into the gym I wiped off my face with my hands. I didn’t realize that my hands were dirty from picking up the tire and I just went directly to one of the stationary bikes and sat down. It wasn’t until (MUCH) later that I got up to go to the bathroom and saw the horrible dirty mask that was my face HAHAHA. It’s funny now but at the time it was a horrible day!

I would pull over and call AAA emergency roadside service! Or DH!

I would have kept driving too! I am stubborn when it comes to that kind of thing of course I would have kicked myself when I got home... And that's happened to me before!!!!

Oh, I did the exact same thing the first time I got a flat. Now I stop. Tire repairs are much cheaper than tire replacements!

With a mile, turn on hazards and keep driving, as close to the side as possible. Probably pull off into a parking lot if it got worse.
