I'm in my first tri and not much is tasting good.
My taste buds are leaning towards lighter meals such as salads and noodle soups. God, I can eat noodle soup for every meal right now.

Not much! I'm also in the first tri and the only things that go down well are spicy soupy things.. Which then do t do me any favors when it comes to the heartburn that I get afterwards... But its the only thing that doesn't gross me out right now.. That and fruit but mostly oranges which again makes my stomach hurt.

really toasted bread with peanut butter, bagels with cream cheese and strawberry yogurt. Otherwise, not a whole lot.

Ugh, nothing really. I can never figure out dinner because everything sounds gross.
Although, there's a sandwich shop that has the best cold cuts but I feel guilty eating deli meat. I also can't go there often since it's in another town.

Salty carbs, tacos (carne asada, cilantro, onions, squeeze of lime, and corn tortilla), and bagels with cream cheese. That's it.

I've turned the corner from "all carbs" to actually wanting fresh salads, fruits, and vegetables.
Major red sauce and vodka sauce cravings last week. that may be weather-related!

Today I ate Garden Salsa Sun Chips dipped in spinach avacado dip for lunch.
I'm in the weird phase of pregnancy eating, apparently.

I am just loving milk! I also really want some pomegranate but the store didn't have anything - maybe season for that is over??

I've thankfully switched from being a chocolate monster to wanting a lot more fruit and LOTS of water. I think the fact that I'm starting to swell a bit (last 4 weeks) makes my body crave anything good to try to "fix" it. But I do still love me some chocolate.

Fruity cheerios! I could eat them all day. Lol. I'm 40 weeks.

Sweets! I could eat them at all times. Sigh. Or cereal. Or cheese. But sweets of all kinds sound delicious.

Not much. Oatmeal, white tea, and trail mix are OK. I'm also OK with nutella on toast, and I eat a lot of fried eggs. Otherwise, I haven't been very hungry!
ETA: and clementines!! I can eat them like candy.

I'm sorry first tri ladies, that's so miserable! I wasn't hungry until 22 weeks. I'm enjoying the ravenous third trimester and making up for not eating as much earlier on.
C and I shared a Hollumi cheese pita and Greek fries for lunch- yum!

Same @locavore_mama - I am a big sweets person normally but I can't even stomach the idea of them now. I can't even have gum. I guess it makes up for me only eating carbs this week.
pear / 1974 posts
basically nothing. noodle soups, and clementines is what i'm living on right now.
pear / 1586 posts
@locavore_mama: In my first tri I ate alot of carbs and cream cheese clearly I am not the poster person for healthy cravings lol.

@coopsmama: Me too on the chips and guac! I can't get enough.
I'm still really early on...like 5 weeks. So I don't even know if this is all related. But for some reason I've gotten really into seafood! I am careful because I know too much of certain things can be dangerous, but loving crab meat and fish tacos! I want fish tacos and guac all. the. time.
nectarine / 2936 posts
I am constantly starving but so sick of noodles, mac and cheese, rice, cheese sticks, or anything potato. I really want something delicious, I just don't know what that is!
