I dont spend a lot on my handbags because they get a lot of abuse, my most expensive bag I have currently is by Jessica Simpson the retail price is about $120 but I got it on sale for $39. The other brand I like to buy is Nine west and again I stay under $50 on sale.

Oooh, I've been telling my husband I want an LV for a push present, but I don't think he'll go for it...

I have a few Coach bags and a couple Kate Spades. I think the most expensive was only 350 or so?

Haha wow, I'm feeling really cheap/poor. I have ONE coach bag that was less that $300. Every other purse I own is from Target or Gap Outlet or somewhere else cheap. I also have a few hand me downs, but still nothing fancy there.

I have the LV neverfull in the monogram canvas and I love it! I use it all the time to travel, and it's great because you can tuck the sides in when it's not super full. I also have the LV one that looks like a doctor's bag with the short handles... I can never remember what that one is called. I also have a couple of vintage ferragamo bags but I have no clue what the cost as my aunt gave them to me.

I like to stay in the $40 or under for purses because I wear them out a lot. I have splurged and bought a bag in the $50 range.

YES! The speedy. Love it. Even though it's small I can fit so much crap in it.

the most expensive one i've purchased for myself was probably a lv bag back in the day for $600 or so. my mom did give me a chanel handbag and a versace handbag that she received as gifts, so those are the two most expensive bags i own. i long for a classic black chanel flap bag though, and a miu miu bag!

I've accumulated some handbags over the years - most are Prada and I have one LV Neverfull, which I've used almost exclusively for the past two years. I don't know how much the most expensive one was but I've not spent over $1,000 on one single bag.

What a fun push present

My Mom bought me all of my expensive handbags on various trips to visit me in NYC and they include a white leather prada bag (forget the price, slightly over $1K), a small black leather gucci bag that was around $8-900 and the fabric gucci tote I wear every day to work that was $800.

Louis Vuitton alma bag... Christmas present from DH. The rest of my bags are mostly Coach plus a couple of Kate Spades and Marc Jacobs.

I have about 3 Rebecca Minkoff's that are worth about $650 each, but I got them at her Sample Sale and Gilt Groupe for about 50% off. I love them! Leather is so soft...

Also have a Miu Miu Bow Satchel that was about 1.8K. That was THEE handbag I always lusted after... and hopefully my last for a long while... or ever. I haven't had "expensive handbag fever" since then and hope it stays that way!

I'm usually not into expensive handbags. I like them but I just could never justify the price. My husband got me an LV bag a couple years back while we were traveling. He thinks every woman should have a nice, timeless handbag. =) I love the shopping side of him sometimes!

@banana: DH is into watches also. He already has a nice watch that he's going to pass down to our son. The watches I see him browsing, I can't afford to get him at the moment. Perhaps maybe for our 10 year anniversary? Man, I'd have to start saving for it now!
